    camera-position / fov is off for bonnet cam in AMS2;
    tree-positioning-wise: some trees in AMS2 are very close rl, particularly left of the parabolica;
    sound-wise: AMS2 is near rl but not really close;
    color-grading: too saturated in AMS2;
    cam/bonnet shaking in bonnet cam: missing in AMS2

    What I hoped would be a pretty decent transition from virtual, to real and back to virtual again.

    WOW looks wonderful. If I may, I think that the real cam has a little bit wider than AMS2. Other than that........wonderful!

    Yeah, there's no subtle fisheye effect possible in AMS2, like I can achieve with Assetto Corsa. I wish there was one.
    You can alter the FOV though, using the + and - keys on the keypad.

    I jumped into the F-HiTech Gen 1 Model 2 for the first time tonight and could not see the top of the digital telemetry in front of the wheel. How low did those guys sit?! To see the top of the gauge, the little windshield would be directly in front of my eyes. Not even close to where I was positioned previously. But makes senseā€¦

    Maybe one of the guys here load that vid up? I think the sound in AMS2 reflects pretty well the real one. It's just like only louder in the real cockpits (for a noob like myself).

    It sounds like the main difference is in fact in the low frequencies, which you would hear in person but perhaps not recorded by a small camera microphone. So "Real life" (picked up by the onboard camera) is in fact worse than AMS2 because the sample doesn't include those "bassier" components of the sound. It's pretty impressive.

    Edit: I hadn't got to the Mercedes part, which has lower freqs but where the microphone is obviously being blown out. Either way I think my point is clear enough
