Today I drove F-V10 G2 and noticed that the car automatically upshifts. But it doesn't automatically downshift. I can't remember if I've noticed that before as I don't remember the last time I drove this class. Is this normal for this car? I thought the new Hi-Tech Formula cars were the only automatic shifting Formula cars.
Yeah, normal for this car. Also the cars from the era of the F-V10 Gen2 are equipped with automatic gearbox systems. You can turn it off in the advanced setup menu, via ICM or via key assignment.
