I'm having this weird issue: AMS2 has been working very good until today. Now, when I start a practice/race and go driving, I have no car. I mean camera is near track level, I can "drive" around but there's no car body around me (nor driver body). Only camera near track level. I'm running VR. Just a week ago everything was ok, now there's no car or driver. No matter what car and track I choose. I have tried so far: restarting AMS2, rebooting the whole system, verifying Steam game files, reinstalling Nvidia drivers and installing newer Ndivia drivers. Something different today: SteamVR was updated Today (for the first time) I tried to participate in online race. I opened AMS2, selected one server and joined in. When I went to qualifying session, there was no car but I could drive around System: Windows 11 HTC Vive Pro2 HMD
Have you tried cycling through the cameras? There is a bug where after certain sessions (e.g. watching replays or joining a multiplayer session that did not force cockpit camera) the next session will use bumper cam and you need to cycle back to cockpit cam manually.
Hi, that was the fix, thank you! Never crossed my mind because when I looked around, there was no car at all. Stupid me, I thought that is something must be broken, because the car was completely missing. I have never changed camera view before, I had to even set button for it.
