Automobilista 2 Mods!!!

For me, the latest AMS2 Beta's have broken mods. I can get tracks to work, but not cars. They either, show up as a white rectangle in the loading screen and crash AMS2 Beta, or they load, but have no engine sounds.

 

tried PC2MT and Thunder and they works, only engine sound is missing in 1.5.5

 

Even the 01-GT3_Mod_Unleashed one?
I did indeed find the engine sounds missing, but the unleashed Mod, caused the white rectangle issue and the Game becoming unresponsive.

 

Tried Group B and Lmh only, sorry!

 

My mods (Thunderflash, KAOS Modding Team) all work, but engine sounds are missing in all of them since game update 1.5.5

 

The same with me

 

Give the modders more than an hour to update their stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially considering it's a holiday.

 

That means we have to re-download all mods when they are updated, right? I have a lot of mods, like most people here probably do.

Was something changed in the folder structure, which is why the mods no longer work?

Yes, we gotta wait. There is something wrong with the audio files since game update.

 

Would be nice if Reiza gave a heads up to modders as to changes being made in upcoming updates. Then they can pass on info to us mod users, so we at least know that our mods will work or not. I think tracks still work though ?????

 

With luck, it is an inadvertent step towards independent engine sound files being able to be used in mods

Assume any time there is a major update from Reiza that mods could be offline for a while.

Ah, ok. When I tried the mods a few updates ago, in Beta, the engine sounds were missing. Hopefully it is an easy fix.
Having said that, I think the new content will keep most busy for a while.

 

This is really bad news for the sounds that have disappeared from the mods. I'm thinking in particular of the amazing Indycar mod from Kaos. As these are silent, I'm afraid this mod won't be updated. I hope I'm wrong.

Has any mod been updated yet? I read that the thunderflash mod will probably no longer be updated due to time constraints
