AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Well, if one discovers what the name of the tyre texture is, I think it can be easily done. It would be a great thing for GT3s also. The new GT3s all use pre 2017 Michelin tyre for some reason, so with modding we can get them to modern standards.
I guess the only way we can have the Tyre wall texture name would be with the help of Reiza

 

I really think that tyre wall and rims are latest touches of customization we need to make the skinpack even more immersive. Its more relevant than pitcrew textures to me.

 

Trying to work on my own very first skin as well. Going for quite an easy one at first, the #5 JDC Miller Porsche from the IMSA 2023 season:

As soon as I figure out how to do a nice preview and some other few details, I might upload to RD as an add-on for the Two Penskes by @Gianmarco Fiduci, if you're fine with that?

EDIT: Will also try to do the Proton Porsche and upload them together.

Thank you this was it, I hadn't moved one custom AI file over and had to go hunting for the GT4 one but eventually found it and they work in Multi-Class now

For the F-Inter I can see three kind of rims: white, black and silver metallic. However how do I activate them when I want to do my own skins?

 

Wheels haven't really been added to the overrides yet but i plan on trying to get them added at some point in Q1.

 

That would be huge.

 

A much lesser priority, but steering wheel stems being added would be cool too.
The ability to add custom Ferrari, Honda, Renault etc logos to Formula Classic, V10 and HiTech steering wheels would be sweet.

 

There is something wrong with the "Matte" effect on the livery override of the M4 GT3, instead of having a matte effect, carbon material is being applied

Edit:
If you try to apply a soft matte, some scratches will also appear in the effect.

It was feasible on some cars, and it made for a less gleaming, clean interior, like something straight out of a car dealership.

 

Getting closer

 

For some reason i cannot get a custom driver helmet working, any idea what i did wrong here ?

 

Write: </HELMET_OVERRIDE>
and not: </HELMET_OVERRIDE> -->
maybe that's the problem, it's worth a try

 

This was the issue, both lines were missing the _DIFF

Also working on some simple outfits and helmets for the Caterham Variety Packs.
