We love bringing vintage racing cars to life digitally and we currently have over 80 historic tracks and cars in development across over half-a-dozen sim racing titles currently available or in development. We plan to fully support AMS2 as one of these titles with a large quantity of high quality historical content.

Project #1:

1937 Delahaye 135C



We are doing are best to properly reverse engineer the Madness Engine development pipeline, using a 200k tri limit for the LOD A, 150k limit for the CPIT, 60k for the LOD B, PBR textures, etc. Our goal is to deliver a project that will be 99% the quality of the base ASM2 content.

Project #2:

1994 Stockcar Thunder

We are currently planning to bring one of our three 1994 Stockcar Thunder cars to AMS2, we will need to slightly rework the 3d model using some of the techniques we've learned more recently while developing the 1937 Delahaye 135C. Our supporters will vote on which of the three unique designs they would like us to bring to AMS2.



We will be running another sponsorship campaign for the AMS2 cars like we did with our AC cars. Currently early access sponsorships for the AMS2 run of liveries is $20 for a primary hood sponsorship and ability to choose theming of the car (future pricing will increase based on demand).

Oh man, I hope you have a lot of time making these mods . I'm 'desperately' waiting for a mod of F1 '50-s and '60-s. Great to see another one taking on the mod gloves of AMS2 !!

1937 Talbot Lago T150C:


This project is going to be the sister to our Delahaye 135C, and give AMS2 two 1937 endurance sportscars. Obviously this project is in the early stages and will be brought to AMS2 after both of the above projects.

 

A detailed look at the additional details we are adding to the suspension on our 1937 Delahaye 135C.

 

PS: Now I'm hoping more than ever that Reiza can cobble something together so modders can implement their own engine sounds.

 

Im really hoping we get the stock cars soon!

This project's 3d model is essentially finished, and we are doing a final QA before the texturing begins.

The HSS 3d Modeling Team has done an excellent job with some of these final details on the T150C! Both of our 1937 Touring cars are going to be excellent additions to Automobilista 2.

 

Future projects for AMS2 are going to depend heavily on the reception and sales figures for the 1937 Touring cars and the 1994 Stockcar. If the 1937 Touring cars do well for us, there will be plenty more 1930s content coming for AMS2.
