AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Tried to modify the existing BMW M Hybrid V8 liveries to reflect the actual IMSA liveries but somehow I can't get the livery to show up. Anyone ever came across this or has an idea what the issue might be?

Can't attach the dds since the file is too large but I can't see what the issue is. File structure and xml are fine since the numberplate is showing up:

The UV map for that car is extremely user-unfriendly to do it just for a "please" but i am opened to make a commission.

 

Is there anyway to extract a skin from the game? Lets say the BMW LMDh for example, just to see what goes where easily before starting making a new skin.

Does anyone of you have experience with the livery overrides not working ?
Me and my brother used to share our livery folder regularly, so we all see the same skins etc. and it worked flawlessly.

After zipping my vehicle and user data folder and sending it to him, he deleted these two folders in the ams 2 directory and pasted mine.

He also tried to delete the two folders and verify the game files via steam but they aren't even replaced.

However none of the included liveries show up for him, only the stock ones.
It works like a charme for me though.

We are on the same game version etc.

I've been having an issue with the GT1 cars for a long time now (at least since 1.5.3, maybe earlier) of repeated liveries, that is, the same livery showing up twice. I had installed chrisi2174's Porsche skins, Ralf1973's Mercedes skins, AFry's McLaren skins, and the Custom AI file from NAMeS Expansion Pack 3.
I tested each of them installed separately, all together, and all but one of them, and the issue seems to be with the Mercedes skinpack. Whenever I install it not only the Merc, but all the other cars (Porsche, McLaren and Nissan) get some duplicate liveries, no matter if there are custom skins for the other cars. And it doesn't seem to be specific drivers; every time I load the grid I get different duplicates. Also nothing to do with Custom AI, the issue happens with or without it the same way. The only thing that changes is that, without an AI file, duplicate liveries get different drivers, as there is no specific driver attached to them.
The same issue also happens with the theracersesports.com F1 1997 skinpack on RD (since at least 1.5), also affecting every car on the grid, no matter if I have custom AI and skins for the MP4-12 or not. I couldn't find anything wrong on the files of either mod, but that's probably due to my very limited modding knowlegde. Does anyone here have an idea on how to fix it? Thanks for any help.

Well, a partner is doing some skins for the 2023 WEC season, so I might join to him and do some of them (I'm not 100% sure I will, as I have another pack in mind apart from the IMSA one), so lets see
