It seems there is a bug there actually. You should be able to asign the same key/button to both the open and cycle commands but that is not possible atm. I also noticed while testing this that the auto close timeout is not being correctly reset when using the cycle button. Both will be fixed in the next build.
You can disable it in display options if you don't want it. The issue was that the cycle input does not reset the timer like the other controls do so it will close earlier than it should if your last button presses are the cycle input
