Can PC1 assets also be modded, or is it PC2 only so far?

Apologies if this has been confirmed one way or the other already.
I was just wondering, because there were quite a few cars in Project CARS(1) that didn’t make it into PC2, that would make great AMS2 mods.

Cars like the Monterey Stockcar(early-1990s NASCAR) and the 2008/9 LMP900 Audi R8 & Lola-Aston to name a few.

Ariel Atom, that was a great car in PC1

 

I just checked the PC2 section of the KAOS Modding site, and it appears that many cars(including the two I mentioned) have already been converted from PC1 to PC2.

That fills me with hope.

 

I was actualy working with the physics to make a port of the caper. @macheerou and scar666 ported the model (the hard part afaik at least for my knowledge) and I have a working version they sent me in the pcmt discord I modified further. Sadly I had many duties to do lately, and actually invested all the time I had to mod in making my tools to modify (compile and decompile) binaries (a project I would like to release at some point).

I didn't know there is a such a big interest in this piece, I should be able to put my hands on it and have something soon (TM).

 

Ah man, imo the Stock cars along side the Meganes and clios are the biggest cars to be brought to ams2. Keep up the fantastic work mate! Is there a discord channel where we can follow your progress outside of the forum?

 

IKR? Imagine that car with full Days of Thunder, early 90s Winston Cup, Daytona USA, etc skin, skill & name packs around Daytona, Watkins Glen, Road America...
