    I understand that feeling! Haha.

Nice to know you are making progress! that was I was worried about*. It is very demotivating when many hours of work do not translate to progress.

    * I don't get tired of clarifying it because I know that happens. I am not that guy demanding! Just actual empathy because I now you are doing an ambitious thing.

Yes I lost some motivation sometimes already because it is really tedious. Right now I'm modeling the Honda, which is by far the best model out of all them, even though the car is only half way finished. When I have the Honda ready, I will redo some parts of the 3 previous cars, now that I have more experience with modeling these cars and also other programs like substance painter.

The Ferrari will come together with the Mercedes for my F1 2024 Skinpack. If I won't get them ready today, I will release both Teams together with Red Bull tomorrow.

But here are 2 pictures of the already finished Ferrari! :)

(I wanted to post this under the Livery thread.. oops :D)

The ferrari is definitely the best looking car on the grid so far, can't wait to see them all on track! Looking great!

    Hi everyone.
New to the modding aspect of this amazing sim and am hoping for some clarification on one aspect.
I've recently downloaded a couple of the Thunder flash mods and am amazed at the quality so thanks for that . Was wondering, after a Reiza physics / tire tread update do these mods also need adjustment for physics and or tread to keep them in line with the default cars in the game ?
    Many thanks.

IIRC an update can change stuff which means cars need to be changed in a certain way to not crash the game. I’m no expert and that’s what I think happens

Tires don't need update because the mods use "pointers", other things may vary.

I guess that means mods use some form of a tyre thats already available within ams2 right? So when that tyre gets updated, the mod gets updated aswell?

Not only mods, game cars too. There are generic tyres like various GT3, GT4, GroupA, different formulas, etc. and every car point to one of those.

Yeah but what I meant is that mods don't have control over the state of the tyre they're using, if that tyre gets updated the mod will get that update aswell. Reiza oviously has control over which tyres each car will use.

The *.vdfm file of each car (including mods) points to physics files, included the tires.
Some big physics updates add "mandatory" new stuff to physics files for instance, and break mods when they use files with the old format. Usually small tire thread adjustments do not break mods, since all mods I know use Reiza defined tires, so tire thread adjustments should just propagate to the mods.

Do PC2 related mods have their original sounds? If not, how do modders decide what sounds to use? Just curious :)

They don't (afaik). To decide which one to use modders usually take a car in-game with similar engine. There is a way to tune them also, in a popular blog with PC2 ripped stuff (so I can't link it here) there is a tutorial to do so.

This is probably the reason why I am not driving the Mazda 787B all the damn time I am in the rig as I did when I Assetto Corsa was my main sim :D

I want to thank you for your three wonderful adaptations to am2 of your ferrari fxxk, lamborghini essenza and porsche cars, I really enjoy them, but since the last update of am2, you can't hear the engines, you can hear other sound effects, the wind, the tires, etc., but the sound of the engine cannot be heard in any of the three models, please be so kind as to tell me how I can solve it???, thank you very much for your great work
