HI. I'm also experiencing the same problem. I followed the guide. I uninstalled OpenXrToolKit, then installed the latest version of Reshade 6.1 and installed DirectX 10.11.12 and OpenXr in mode. by selecting AMS2AVX.exe I reinstall OpenXr. I start the game in OpenXr, the Reshade menu appears on the monitor and everything works on the monitor (I see the changes in the main menu of AMS2) while on the viewer there are no changes. As soon as I get on the track I get the same error "IVR overlay 027" and everything freezes. Can you help me understand exactly how you made it work?
I think we need to wait an update from OpenXR Toolkit as both of tools use a window overlay in game and i think there is a conflict between them (something related to the dll files). Not sure but it is what it is at the moment...
Introducing: Easy Troubleshooting - ReShade Forum I had the same issue initially- I can't say what fixed it. are you running the version without add in support? I had to try installing and uninstallig reshade a few times with DX only and then with DX & Openxr It should create a log file in the ams2 folder - it might give a clue

As soon as I'm home I'll try again. so you advise me to install Reshade 6.0.1 only in DirectX and then redo another installation of Reshade with Directx and OpenXr. You could attach your reshade files saved in the AMS2 folder.
Files Here OneDrive I Just uninstalled ReShade and reinstalled using just openXR this time using AMS2AVX.exe as the trarget and it worked. It might also be worth copying my ProgramData folder as well - it's hidden on C: drive. You can either go to file explorer and select -show - hidden items. or type %programdata% into file explorer to open the folder You will see the reshade folder in my zip - copy it to yours and see if that works. If that doesn't work send me the Reshade log file from the Automobilista 2 folder and I'll it it gives any clues.
I thank you. I reinstalled Reshade in OpenXr mode only and it didn't work. I pasted the reshade folder into the Automobilista2 folder and it worked. Compared to Reshade, it doesn't work to immediately change a filter in game, but I have to exit the game and make the changes. Another difference is that the reshadeOn/Off button in Vr doesn't work. But anyway the filters are applied to each new game session.
Yes Reshade OpenXr is early development I hope it gets more work in the coming months - I also have to quit AMS and restart to see changes in VR
I noticed that if I apply another .ini file the effects in the viewer are not applied, you have to use the original file to see the changes in the viewer. however having reshade visual enhancements makes the game more realistic. I'm trying to make it more realistic. If you want I'll give you my reshade.ini file and the OpenXr toolkit visual settings
