Unfortunately not mate. At least for me.
I have a 1920*1200 Monitor and I use this resolution In-Game but most of the HUD layer are out of the border

Yes, I am talking about the setting ingame. That will change your mirror´s resolution on the screen, the resolution in your headset won´t be touched.

By the way, when you move the on-screen window so that a part of it is outside the screen´s range, you won´t be able to reach that part with the mouse anymore, also in VR.

So if my monitor native is 1920x1200 I should set this value in-game? right?

But if I cannot still reach the part at the bottom and at the right border.

Only thing that helped me with reaching UI elements in the bottom corner of the screen was using a gamepad. I tried every possible way to do it but nothing else works. Reiza needs to fix this by having a "place every elemented in the center of the screen" button so we can then manually move them again wherever we want to.

I am using a third party Xbox One gamepad and it worked straight away.

I managed to make the PS4 controller working. I can even steer left and right with it but no way to move the things in the HUD settings. Any help?

The cursor does not move at all when editing the hud, or you cannot grab the hud elements ? If it helps anything i am having the game in windowed mode and all works without problem although i still have to click AWAY more to the right and down in order to select the thing i want to select, not directly on the hud element. Just have to keep searching and wait until the gamepad cursor highlights the thing you want to move.

Problem is, if you have it in a location where the "grab handle" is by the Save, Cancel, etc buttons, you can't get it. I would suggest hooking an HDMI cable to your PC and a TV, start AMS2, set AMS2 to TV's higher resolution, move your problem element in towards the center, then reset your resolution to it's previous setting, hook your monitor back up, locate the element where you want it. Pain in the butt, but any editing of the HUD in VR is a painful experience.

Have you tried clicking "Reset to Defaults"?

Yup. My setup is 6800xt > open composite > vdxr > pico 4

I don't use openxr toolkit because the layer itself causes stutter for me.

Drivers wise I'm sticking on 23.7.2 it gives the smoothest performance.

Using a 7900xtx with Oculus link cable > open composite > OpenXR toolkit with the latest drivers. Max res on my Oculus 2 with max settings in game and MSAA at medium. Solid 90 fps with a short dip in fps at start of night races.

    RTX 3060 Ti, 64 GB Ram, Ryzen 7 3800X : Quest 3 + Virtual Desktop

Done more testing recently and after playing using the HVEC codec for a month and having a bitrate limit of 200 and not happy with compression artefacts in many areas, i thought about testing the others and specifically H.264+ as it offerend a LOT more.

Did just two tests with with H.264 at 320 bitrate for now which is less compared to the 365 i was using in PCVR mode with the link cable. And even at that setting the image quality is a LOT better ! I was not able to see any artifacts that happens at lower bitrate levels and i did not feel any additional latency ! This is now my preferred way to play. 458648.jpg

yup with VD at least and in sims H264+ is the way to go. Just a much cleaner image over all and less work for the encoder.

    Thanks!!

Did you ever try motion reprojection on? Currently not working for me. It cuts the fps to 20ish in good conditions

Please, disable HAGS in the settings. Reddit - Dive into anything

It fixed the stuttering completely. It is a gamechanger. I feel like I am playing another game.

Update on the missing HUD elements when recording or taking screenshots in VR - I checked my resolution both ingame, on desktop and when I check ingame on my Quest 2 and they all match at 1920 x 1080. Looking back at the footage from my Twitch streams missing some of the HUD elements, the elements that are visible look very chunky and I think I now know what's causing the tyre and tacometer elements to disappear.

I've looked at the headset resolution in the Oculus app (under "Rendering Resolution" and it's automatically set to 3936 x 1984. This resolution is probably overriding the in-game resolution, or at least something to make the HUD grow to this size and hence why it's not fitting on the screen.

There's an option to increase or decrease the headset resolution, but the lowest it can go to is 2432 x 1216, so I was skeptical at first if this would work. HOWEVER I was pleasantly surprised by how much the HUD had shrunk, to a smaller size than I expected. Now the headset resolution just needs tweaking up until the HUD fits just nicely.:) hudscreenshot.jpg

EDIT - Issue now resolved with the headset resolution now set to 2816 x 1440.

Quick question about a thing I noticed in VR. Not sure if it's just me or a more general problem, but when watching a replay in VR from trackside, the cars seem to stutter with head movement.

By that I mean - if I don't move my head, no issues; the moment I start to turn my head (to look at the cars) they stutter aggressively. Have only seen this happen in trackside, other replay cameras work fine.

    Is this just me?

So far so good for me as well, managed to have a couple of hours yesterday and an hour today and few if any stutters so far with HAGs turned off.

I already had it off and have random small stutters here and there.
