I had the same issue the other day - I had previously ran a race with a mandatory pit stop included and had forced a tyre change via the options, this seemed to work ok. Then a few days later ran the same race and was DQ'd on the last lap after having met the requirement of the race, however I am sure that the process of changing the tyres occured in terms of time spent in the pits, however after one lap I noticed my tyre wear seemed unusually low, it looked like I had not actually changed my tires and they had reverted back to the post pit stop state (cant be 100% about this observation).
Today ran another race- same format as before in terms of GEN 2 GT3, LeMans, single player, AI =30 cars @110% and Max Aggression, Pit Stop Refuel =Yes, Mandatory Pit Stop = Yes, Mandatory Stop Min Tyres = 4 | Pit Strategy Change Tyres = All
The only thing I changed today from the previous race the duration, switched from 1 hr to 2 hr.
After the first pitstop at lap 10 I did a driver swap with the AI, AI took over after the pitstop and once he was on the track I again noticed that the tyre wear graphic showed wear again, I suspected that the same issue was going to occur again ie ne DQ'd on the last lap,
I did another pitstop at lap 20 and I took over the car again, I noticed that this time the wear graphic was correct - ie it looked like I had actually had my tyres changed, result no DQ?
    Confused...

I did a 60 minute race at Le Mans and set the mandatory number of tyre changes to 2, but the AI only stopped once for tyres and didn't get disqualified. I stopped for two tyre changes and also didn't get disqualified.
I hope this gets fixed as 1 tyre change is okay for a one hour race but for longer races you need more than 1 tyre change, and if I pit for tyres more than the AI does I lose too much time in the race.

Hello. Reading vinnyuk's post, I confirm yesterday that I suffered the same problem. 30 minute offline race with mandatory stop for fuel, change of 4 wheels. About halfway through the race I went into the pits and so did a lot of the AI.

In the penultimate lap they notified me that I still had to complete the mandatory stop (which I had already made) and I was finally disqualified.

It was very frustrating, after 30 minutes of racing.

    PD: Sorry for my English

This setting is not for how many mandatory pitstops you have to make but how many tyres have to be changed at the pitstop. I initially thought it was how many pitstops had to be made too.

Any news on the investigation ? (it has been 6 months)
I tried a championship twice last night (stock car pro series 2023), and on both occasions I was disqualified, even though I did a pit stop.

Hello, I just did a Formula USA 2023 race at Gateway Oval. I made a pit stop and yet I was disqualified because the game considers that I did not make my pit stop. What's funny is that on the results table, it says that I made a pit stop.

hmmm... for now our only option is to set tire and fuel wear to 2X and make the race at least 30 minutes long?

I just started playing AMS2. I started a Brazilian Stock Car championship. I have a mandatory pit stop to make. No changing tires, nothing, just reparation. I have the pit stop window open so I pit. However in the last lap it's says that I have to stop even though I did. If I stop, I get disqualified at the end of the pit stop. If I don't, I also get disqualified. I don't know what I did wrong but I think it's a bug. Can someone help me? I want to continue playing but it's impossible. I'm losing the fun.

You have to change at least one tire (i think). That's the rules of brasilian Stock Car.
Unfortunately this isn't mentioned in game...

I had this same thing happen on the Nurburgring 71, using the bmw 2002 , I did a pit stop and then got DQ on the last lap.

Is there any news on fixing this.

If you set mandatory pitstop the next option is how many different tyres compounds must be used.
Softs -> Softs is not equal Softs -> Mediums if you set the second option to 1.

EDIT: Oh, it looks like I'm wrong. Is it possible you can change Softs->Softs in F1 (in AMS2) and it will be ok? oO I don't even take it under consideration. In other classes it can be different but for sure what I explained above is correct in a sense of mandatory pitstops and changing tyres. I never have a problems when stick to this rule.

@jota.191 Can I ask you for correct me please? Thank you.

You are right. I have no idea why my answer is mark as a wrong one especially it's clear changing tyres e.g. in F1 is mandatory. I assumed as well known thing there should be two different compounds used in race at least once. Different classes can have another rules but changing tyres is mandatory in almost always. If I'm wrong just correct me.
