I'm a G27 user here and something that's been bothering me lately is that randomly the rotation of the wheel is losing visual synchronization as well as the degrees of rotation, for example, it's as if a 270º car goes to 540º (car on track). You have to shut down and start the car again, it returns to normal without anything changing, but with the risk of it happening again. This happens randomly with any car/track and without any specific action/adjustment. Any light?
Does it happen in other games as well? I might believe the decoder/laser of your G27 might be faulty. You can replace it, but will be annoying. Maybe time to upgrade to a DD?
@Marius H Thank you. I still use AMS1 a lot and no problems. As for other games, I haven't used them much but I don't remember any problems of this kind, only in AMS2 where the problem isn't new because it used to happen rarely, now it's more frequent.
Strange, mate. Maybe calibrate wheel would help. I am leaning towards a faulty decoder, but if it's only AMS 2 then maybe something else.
I followed the suggestion to recalibrate the wheel and spent the weekend testing it, apparently it was resolved, so far no problem. Thanks.
