Hi all, I recently got the grid engineering Porsche button console and it has a toggle switch with a latch that is a non momentary button so it is permanently on. I can't map it to ignition in game because I get the multiple inputs detected error message when I try.
Anyone know if there is a work around for this kind of issue?
    Cheers

Can you send a picture of the button?

That is it at the top, the latched one, it is on in that photo, so it stays on rather than being momentary.

Can’t you flick it down and it would stop?

Yeah I did that and it ended up mapping but then car did not start, could hear ignition click on, will have to do a bit of experimentation as I had it with two buttons mapped to ignition so might try deleting one and seeing if it works then.

No luck with this, does anyone know if permanently on switches work or don't work in AMS2? I had no probs mapping it in LMU.

Probably not... AMS2 probably doesn't have input mapping complex enough to support permanent-on switches.

The only way I could see your switch working is if you somehow manage to make the game think it's a simple button click.

I hope it is something that the devs can review and code at some stage then. @Renato Simioni
