Hello, could you add the shortcut that allows you to do one lap of the GP course before starting a proper lap of the full Nordschleife 24h layout? It would make qualifyings much less painful (you could do 5 min quali on public sessions and everyone gets one timed lap) and it's more realistic that way. R3E and ACC both got that feature now, it sadly is absent here on AMS2. Thanks.
At the moment you can drive out of the pits then just click 'go back to pits'. Do a full lap. It will register your time.
But the then 'timed lap' is started with pit limiter Don't how it works with madness engine but like with AMS1, rfactor1, GTR1/2, F1 challenge 99-02, and so on, just set xsector1 and xsector2 objects to final corner of GP circuit to pass all three sectors. And they just active in quali. With older engine no problem.
I’ve had the idea that they can make it so that section invalidates your out lap, but not the lap after that. Hopefully an easy addition
They could theoretically make it work like the Joker lap in RX, if it's possible to force the AI to take the Joker lap in the first lap, if at all, and to not make it mandatory for the player, since it's a shortcut, not a required detour.
Definitely. After watching all the ACC streams, I went on to AMS 2 to do laps, only to smash my head into the dashboard after hitting the invisible wall in the final corner.
