AMS2: The ‘Not-a-Priority Things to Fix’ List

In my understanding, having the full package allows you to jump into some multiplayer races even if you don't own a certain DLC..

 

Yes, the nighttime is too bright. I change the exposure compensation from 0.9 to 0.2 for night races.

 

I'd also like to option to delete tracks and cars, the ones I don't like such as the go-cart tracks.

 

Yeah, or at least hide them, with an option to unhide them deeper in the settings, should you wish to try them in the future.

You can change the exposure compensatiion in the Visual FX menu option.

 

You can, but not during a race, so if you have a day/night race you either have to have the daytime too dark or the nighttime too bright.

 

It's not something super serious, but in those classes that are quite populated like GT3 and especially GT4, there is a ‘bad distribution’ of cars even if we put 32 car grids: many cars of one or two brands and another one that doesn't appear or there is only one representation.

 

Maybe I missed that but I would like to restart a session feom the steering wheel rather than use keyboard and mouse all the time, especially when I tine trial

 

That already works. Assign the menu button to a button on the steering wheel.

 

Sounds like you may be in luck. Taken from the March development blog:

"For those users who may feel they already have more legacy Stock Car seasons than they might wish, some good news - V1.6 will feature a content manager which will allow them to customize the game to feature only the classes and tracks they are interested in".

When a car retires, and it goes back to the pits, the pilot is still inside the car, in the garage. maybe there's a way to have the pilot not there?

 

Noch etwas. Das Benachrichtigungsfenster für den Chat im Multiplayer lässt sich nicht verschieben. Es wäre toll, wenn man es im HUD-Layout verschieben könnte.

the head position should be adjusted slightly. Here is a comparison between AMS2 and the real racing car.

 

Alex Wurz would, famously, disagree. I am sure not every driver is the same height.

 

I think you may need to perform a calibration pass on your monitor. With no moon or track lighting I cannot see anything.

 

I have seen Presets in the beta but no content manager as yet. I think the feature may be open to interpretation at this point. Configurable Presets might be how this will be implemented in the future, but right now you cannot customise them. That said, they are mostly sensible.
