I have an OSW that works fine with every title I use; however, when I attempt to assign the steering left and right, it will not detect my wheel. It works fine in Windows game controllers, as well as iRacing, AC, Project Cars, Dirt, etc...

My Mmos is shown in the game as Joy6, so the game "sees" the wheel, but I cannot bind to Steer Left or Steer Right.

Does something else assign to it instead? If so you have another thing engaged, such as a gear shift.

Or does unplugging devices and plugging them into different usb ports make a difference at all?

I can get a key on the keyboard to bind to the steering, and changing USB ports didn't make a difference.

We're unsure if 'Formula Rim' is actually the wheel or not. If you could try removing the two button boxes and see if you can get it to assign then please? We only support 6 devices, we are not sure if there is a 7th device required here or not.

I use an OSW and CST pedals and sometimes, the wheel axis won't be recognized until I have assigned the pedals because they may take priority in the process of setting steering axis.

Also, you can check to see if the wheel is assigned as "Preferred Device" in the Windows Game Controllers settings. I have read about cases where that may affect axis detection.

Pedals are assigned and I tried setting MMOS as the preferred Device. Didn't work.

I suspect a USB issue because it's rare to see OSW users having such issues in AMS. I have seen cases where another device or AV program interfered with detection / operation though.

Does this game work with an Oculus Rift?
