Hello, as there is a new config-tool now ,i tryed to get the best picture quality for that sim,but i stuck. It is too crispy with settings only in nvidia control panel 8x AA,FXAA on and Vsync on.. AMS config at USER DEFINE.All other settings "High" and "High+" didn't do really satisfy me. Picture still to hard for my eyes. Latest Nvidia drivers 9/10/2017 And 16x Anisoptric Filtering in game makes it CRASH.....to ...Desktop DC.
For best image quality with such powerful card, I suggest to use the highest AA setting in AMS Config and if you are not running the game in 4K, enable NVIDIA DSR with about 20% sharpening and launch the game in a DSR resolution close to 4K. That way you should have a sharp image with top AA.
Yes you can render the game at 4K for display on a 1080p display. This will improve image quality. Google NVIDIA DSR for more info.
Thanx,it works on Nvidia DSR set to Facto 4X,smoothing 20%. But it is now activated for everything, you can not set DSR for each game different..or? DC
You can enable DSR independently for each game: DSR is only enabled for a game if you set a resolution higher than the display resolution in that game video settings.
It has worked till now. Got strange stutters ,can't find out if it is the Windows Fall update or the latest Nvidia Drivers, all other games like RaceRoom and AC work ok.....i give up,go to bed.... DC
I confirm NVIDIA AA settings do not work anymore after updating to the Fall Creators update. I reported it to the issue thread but it is likely a Windows 10 / NVIDIA problem and I will report it on tyhe NVIDIA forums as well.
What do you mean by "DSR Level 1" ? I cannot get the AMS Config NVIDIA AA presets to work, whatever the resolution, DSR or not.
Nvidia Driver 387.92 DSR Factor - 2,25 native resolution AMS Config: Advanced settings Resolution 2880 x 1620 32-bit High+ 8x Q V-sync ON 60 HZ In Game: All GFX FULL That works for me... DC
