What do you mean? You use laserscanned data to get the best accuracy

Not every track in AMS2 is based on laserscan information afaik and I'd believe Imola is part of it.

It probably is amazing, heck rF2 is still spectacular, the problem with LMU for me is....no VR. I know i can FAFO and jimmy rig a form of VR, but with no AA it looks like trash and even then it cant be driven online. So for them to be asking $75 aud for a bit of content while the main function i need isnt working i get a little salty.

 

Yeah same over here. Bought it, played with it and asked for a refund. No fun at all at this stage.
Perhaps later, when they fine tuned the game I’ll try it again. For now it is a no go for me.

 

I would just wait on AMS2 to add endurance prototypes

 

Of course, AMS 2 is my favourite Race game for use with VR,

 

See your point. They hopefully get this working soon to make it more worthy giving it a try.

 

On the official LMU Forum people post a lot about having performance issues after the last update (they seem to still have good FPS but the game still stutters a lot) and people claim that the Imola Track doesn‘t look and feeld as good as the other tracks in the game.
I will definitly try the game on the weekend before buying the DLC.

This feels like Rfactor2 again. Please delete this json-file, clear that cache & please change this value to this. If this dont‘t help, get a better computer.

i dont turn my VR on anymore the downsides to VR outweight the upsides for me, that and i have an expensive rig and expensive toys on it and i want to see them

 

What HMD do you have?
I have a pretty sweet triple setup that never gets used other than I use the centre screen for fortnite and stuff but VR is so so much better than triples for sim racing imo. I've tried a few times to play in triples and it is so much less "in the car" that is feels boring compared to VR.
I have a Reverb G2 and will get a Crystal once I can sneak it in the door past the misses, lol

 

Hotfix released to solve the stuttering issue. I also had that but only in sessions with full ai grids. When I was on the tracks alone it ran as usual.

Currently checking how tires behave and how temps and track temps are developing over time and under consideration of traffic. Seems there are some issues with it...

 

Vive VR original. I bought the g2 for the kids and tried it as well, but decided its not for me.

Has anyone done the AMS2 version of this? This clip feels like it was made only for sledgehammering iRacing.. but a throwaway comment near the middle was that AMS2 was worse so not worht being considered? Honestly after my 2 year subscritpion for iRacing expired ive not bothered again with it, it sucks i terms of value for money, but I'd have said I prefer ther AMS2 LeMans to iRacings one by far....

 

The iR version is kinda old. Think it's based on a 2016 scan.

 

Tried the game this weekend, no technical problems on my end! It seems like they changed the braking of the hypercars a little bit? It still is tricky, but it seems a little more controllable than before.
Did I mention that I bought the Season Pass?

 

Yeah the game is really good as of this writing.
