Yep, got that so far but not much of helpful tips.
I guess waiting for an update might be the only trick here.

Also, there are 2 funky sticks (rotational, up down and left right).
On my Fanatec gear I could use them to go throught the menus in AMS2.
Seems to not working for Simagic, unless people here got it working.

I'll share this funcky stick behavior also in the discord group of Simagic.

For the rest, this is a great piece of simgear.
Wheelbase and steeringwheel. Happy I've done the switch.

You know what is weird, some flags do work.

Well we now know that it is not our PC or gear itself but purely the software that needs to read and filter the data.
Hopefully they'll can fix this quick.

    Hi Kuku,

installed the BETA RELEASE, rebooted the whole system and reconfigured AMS2 as suggested by Simagic.
I can confirm that, visually, nothing has changed.
    So still no reactive leds.

if you want perfect LED setups you'll have to use Magic-Link USB cable and SimHub.

Hi Wolfgang, I tried and use Simhub at the moment. It works flawless but it would be unnecessary if telemetry is readout like it should through the simagic software. Flawless would be perfect if it was wireless. I don't need al the fancy light effects but the flags, abs and or TC would be nice. I purchased the maglink because I almost broke the usb port due the cable became to short (during recalibration). But the coiled cable is disturbing me. It get stuck between the wheelbase and my ddu (can be fixed by printing a different kind of mounting plate). And the coiled cable is dangling under the wheelbase. Which sometimes feels a bit awkward when it is rubbing my legs.

yes i know. Simagic is sometimes disgusting slow, but they will fix it sometimes. I'm sure.
I was about 2 years beta tester for their first DD, the M10 and its really hard to discuss problems they ( chinese people ) don't see. Belief me, if some guys all arround whe world, including me, hadn't pushed them as hard as we could there would be no useful UI like SimPro 1 and 2.
We also suggested to make telemetry direcly SimHub compatible , like many wheel manufacturers do, but unfortunately they desided to brew their own .

Regarding the coiled cable. As i only bought a base, i created all my wheels myself and had never a problem with the cable. Many reals life cars use that. So see it as kind of immersion ;)
The magic link is really high quality, so i have bought 2 to use it formy own creations. And i'm sure i'll buy more to have this magnetic adaptor on all my wheels.

All in al, you made a good descission. Simagic makes good hardware, and the software gets better every year

Having run a coiled wheel on my base for first year of use , you really only need a couple of inches of slack and the rest can be cabled tied to whatever , close to the base mounting, so it should not be touching your knees as it shouldnt be hanging any lower than the wheel rim .

That won't work with the FX-PRO. I have a DDU that I use with simhub for my GTC-C wheel but the simpro software needs finer increments for its leds for all wheels. Not sure if they will do it or not though if all future wheels are maglink and simhub compatible.

    right.
Neo GT is the first magic link compatible rim.
    Older FX Pro isn't

I reckon they have one in the works though. My FX-PRO came in a box that said it was a FX-PRO neo and it was apparently a "mistake".

I 3d printed me another DDU holder and a ring that sits on the steeringwheel axle.
All this prevents the coiled cable get stuck or tangle up.

I don’t know why you would want the cable coming over the shaft like that to be honest, but each to their own .

    @Kuku:
The cable comes over the shaft with cars that have more than 540° rotation. 540° or less, than the cable just hangs.

    Update on the SimPromanager software:
This (non beta) version fixed the active LEDs for me.
    Good job Simagic.
