AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

SuperV8 - NASCAR Liveries
"I'm dropping the hammer!"
"Days of Thunder addon" is now part of the livery pack!
Featuring all of the iconic cars from the movie .

How to install - if you are using this livery pack for the first time, then first unzip the RAR file, and copy what is inside the "SuperV8 - NASCAR Liveries" folder into the root AMS2 folder, normally located as below:
Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2

To install Days of Thunder Addon - first install what is inside the "SuperV8 - NASCAR Liveries" folder, afterwards in the "Days of Thunder Addon" folder you will find the three folders that have all the Cole Trickle cars separately. Copy and paste either one into the root AMS2 folder normally located as below:
Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2

Once prompted to replace files you select YES TO ALL. These liveries are also interchangeable so if you want either the City, Superflo or original Mello Yello that comes with the pack, you just copy and paste the files in the same way.

Thanks to everyone above! It's nice to read so much positive feedback to my F1 2024 Skinpack.

Here is something I need to report:
The Shader override for the F-Junior doesn't work.
I created a Livery for the AMS2 Community Cup for our Livery. I tried to apply a Green Metallic Shader on top of it but once I set the shader in the xml, the livery turns red. Same happens with Blue Metallic etc. It doesn't happen with Chrome an Matte. There the Livery looks exactly the same like the Default Shader.

With Chrome, Matte and Default Shader:


With a colored Shader like GreenMetallic:

 

Is this in beta, base or both games

 

Haven't checked beta yet actually. Base game for now, I will check later and repost it there if it still happens.

I'm sorry to ask this but... these images appears to have incredible water shaders going on in the background... are these from the beta?

 

Nope, all my official Screenshots are from the main release. Beta pictures would look even better.

 

Nascar Season 2009 - Car of Tomorrow Livery Pack ?
Would there be any interest in a CoT pack based on the 2009 Nascar season ? I am aware the CoT was a very controversial generation in Nascar, hell many say it is the ugliest Stock Car to ever race in the series.

I have actually not watched NR during the Gen 5 era and i actually like the design of it. And if you squint, the "Chevrolet Omega 1999" very closely resembles the CoT.


The two available livery packs i made for these cars also already include two paintschemes that were from the CoT era.

 

When it says "multiplayer compatible", does that mean your skins are seen by others online?

 

Skins can only be seen online if the others have the same skins installed, otherwise they will just see the regular skins that came with the game

 

Ahh OK. But if we all had the same skins on our systems for the same car ids, we'd all see the same?

new Caterham Superlight Art Car pack, also compatible with the SuperSport. I lost a huge chunk of my old AMS2 skins in a system reset (long story) but that’s only made me more determined to make more somehow.

2024 ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring | Skinpack
Featuring 15 GT3s and 10 GT4s, is now available at RaceDepartment.

The 3 Audis and 2 Lambos GT3 will be added in a future update, we will see which other cars we can add apart of those 5. Also, we might add custom helmets as minimum, but it's not a 100% yes for now.
