Unfortunately, modding is not officially supported: it was part of the deal when Reiza got the license for their game engine... So I don't think any real documentation is available for AMS specifically. Part of the rFactor 1 should work. And then you could try asking some tips to other modders maybe?

Yes,rFactor is meant to be a modding platform, so it is officially supported and documented. ISI did not want Reiza to become a competitor there, so they cannot provide any documentation on their titles.
