Do we not already have a 70s C3 corvette in Vintage Touring Tier 1?

 

According to Heinz-Harald Frentzen, it’s quickest to run without TC in qualifying, but you use it to save tyres

 

Endurance Pack 2 will have 5 cars, Reiza will release more details on paid and free content when the time is right.

If you watch the stream you'll see 2 70s Corvettes.

 

I'll be honest, when hysteresis was first mentioned and explained a bit, I was quite skeptical. Thinking to myself: "Well, I am not sure, how much difference can that really make?" Like the true internet expert that I am, even on words and things I did not even know existed.

Turns out it does make quite a difference, glad not everybody is as smart as I.

Since this is the HTT (hype train thread) ... if you like driving Kansai, Spoon curve is now much much more enjoyable to drive, especially the exit. Cars, (most notably open wheelers) do not want to take a wild dive to the left anymore when trying to take the proper line there.

 

It does make sense now... the black magic of tires.

Very nice summary, being in the beta you kinda forget how comprehensive and how much content there is because you are going along with its development. But its no hyperbole when the devs said its the most content and feature rich single time update of any sim pretty much ever.

 

I don‘t really get how the Ligier LMP3 is rumored from the linked Post, but it would be so awesome to get this car in AMS2.
It‘s one of my favorite cars in Rfactor2 and I‘m driving it a lot and having this car in AMS2 would make me really happy. Together with the LMP2 and the GTE & GT3 cars, this would be perfect for some
ELMS races!

LMP3 and European track are wild guesses, don't worry about them.

There's still a few more cars to be revealed, and the track pack is arguably the best track pack so far imo.

 

Yup - and this kind of super_long_list clearly shows the vast amount of changes and should (hopefully) help folks to understand the rather long timescales to get it all done.

It's not a small update and I wonder why it's labelled as 1.6 and not 2.0

I'm maybe drunk but can you confirme that LMDH will now output the same power between hybrid modes and be more or a fuel saving than a boost .

I don't know if i saw it or imagination

 

Are you abe to comment on the HUD at all or is that not subject to any refinements? I do love AMS2, its vast content of cars and tracks is amazing in a package that looks and drives so well, but I've always found the HUD, even when stripped back, to be a little 'clunky'. Any steps to modernise it a touch?

 

The exception being: the whole HUD is beamed directly into the brain of the player

 

Will we need to pay so much attention to not be on 100 or zero percent regarding brake performance like in LMU ?
