From what I was told, they are still working on few thing. The sound and the physic are not implement in all class. I would expect a november/ december release or maybe 2025.

 

The joke going around is that people who are anxious about 1.6 should go play AMS2 and set the race date sometime during winter so that they can chill out.

 

Completely unrelated to sim racing but my Razer deathadder v3. It's an absolutely fabulous mouse for when I play team shooters.

In fact, v1.5 works much better with cool track temperatures. Is the gigantic grip window at ideal temperatures that makes v1.5 feel unreal.

 

Hi guys. Are all the supposed new cars coming with the 1.6 update GT/Prototype cars? Is there any chance we could see new low-powered open-wheelers, like the Dallara F320, FRECA car, or maybe an SFormula? Has anyone from the development team mentioned anything about this? Thanks!

 

AFAIK the cars announced will come with V1.6. No guarantee that there will be more cars announced or shown

 

Would my DIY wheel rim count?
Spent a lot of time and effort on it. Still not perfect but with the materials I could find and afford I think it turned out great

My racing wheel because without it simracing would be much more difficult! Honorable mention goes to my rocksmith cable for allowing me to actually be able to record guitar on my PC, would've had a much harder time making music without it

Edit: also can't forget my Fiio BTR-5 and Sennhieser HD 560's for making music some how even better to listen to.

 

Didn't design it myself. I wish I did but I don't have any knowledge in 3D modeling and didn't really have time to learn it yet. I bought the plans online. However they were designed with the intention to use a joystick encoder. I didn't want to go this route because it felt too simple so I settled on buying an Arduino Pro micro. Wrote the code for it myself, nothing too fancy, pretty much just a polling script for all of the buttons and two paddle shifter switches. Spent a lot of time working on the aluminium main piece. Also I couldn't find alcantara or suede near me so I bought something similar for the grips. In the end I am happy with it tho I do wish to buy a Mercedes badge in the near future to finish the whole piece.

 

I know. Not even 2 months after finishing this one I am already back online, doing research on how I could make one with a screen . I miss it because I occasionally race Formula cars and LMP/LMDh and these cars don't have dashboard inside the cockpit. All of the info is on the steering wheel. I was thinking about building something from Pokornyi Engineering but the cost of the total build would match the cost of something like Moza FSR. I know the quality of Pokornyi stuff is way above the FSR from Moza but for the same price it doesn't feel worth the extra effort.
