The Historic stuff is a real plus for AMS2 imo, the Historic versions of the tracks are simply beautiful. I would really love to see more Historic content. A full field of GT or touring cars would be a dream come true.

I hope they will add the Alfa 154 DTM and the Omega DTM someday. I know there are mod versions of these cars but I prefer the original by Reiza

Having the vintage tracks makes such a huge immersion boost, I can't go back to not having them - one reason AC Evo holds zero excitement for me at the moment.

AC has spoiled me for pre-1970 content, but AMS2 has become my go-to for Group C, '70s GP and 90s GTs precisely because of its track roster.

I'd like to see more vintage closed-wheel stuff next year, and ideally some vintage versions of US tracks. Even when the layout is near-identical but the scenery and graphics are era-appropriate it makes a huge difference.

The historical version of some tracks are the best of the game for me. I would like to see Formula Vintage cars receiving some attention.

I'm all for it, the low-downforce versions of the group C cars are very nice to drive in V1.6, so it would be great to have a few more in due time. Together with the end 80s layout of Le Mans, the Sauber C9 needs it to reach terminal velocity :)

Handling wise F-Vintage will change quite a bit, less early rotation (swimming-like feel from 1.5 in some situations), a bit more tacky, but Gen1 also a little bit more understeery (high speed at least), generally less hyperactive...So lots to explore, my personal favourite is the BT26 in beta...

Is there a reason the gt3 gen 2 category are a lot floaty ? I race the porsche gte vs the gt3 gen2 and the gte have a lot more grip than the gt3 in am2 ?

GTEs are more grippy than GT3s in real life, so that part is correct.

Those are great news, today there are many people trying these cars, but soon leaving them aside because the unpredictability on handling.
I have made a post at the bug tread about the front anti-roll bar on Gen1 Model1

I have seen it, there are some inconsistencies with units vs. setting steps adjustment (not just for this class, seems to be a general UI thing) - the units system is reliable, so front ARB isn't a thing for F-Vintage actually.

In my opinion they are too slippery and the way they apply throttle instantly which leads to oversteer on corner exit is a big annoyance of mine. It's unlike any other SIM, even ams1 in similar cars.

I'm hoping 1.6 makes it better if not I have to put it down to the engine.

    My biggest gripe with ams2

I just did a comparison between a 1.5 GT3 car and the same car in 1.6 today, and this was one of the things that made me go "ugh, I don't want to touch 1.5 again" if I'm being honest. That and the FFB among other things, although the latter could be related to the fact I had modified my FFB settings to suit a custom file rather than the Default+ that I use in the Beta.

Either way, I think you and a lot of other people are going to be happy with 1.6. Just give it some more time - the devs have been working their butts offs, so the time we've had to wait surely isn't due to them slacking off. (I don't even know if they know of this concept - pretty sure they don't. :D)

At the same time, with the info I got, its seem they are at the final stage of developpment. It will come before 2025. So i guess it will be release probably in end of november/beginning of december. But the fact, there was no beta build release since 20 days, it might come more probably in december approximatively + they need their part 3. So part might come in november. I hope they don’t make a part 3 dev update before release. Like I know you don’t pressure the small team but we still have a better communication berween the customer and the dev. That’s my opinion.
