I'm not sure if it was you or Renato himself but i recall that it was mentioned that you would like to allow some sort of weight system/custom bop to be added to AMS 2 at "one point".

With the LFM integration on the horizon and the BoP in some classes being questionable, is there any update on that or is it still down the road for later developments ?

 

For the future so 2025 will the UI feature IMSA Seasons for the skins ?

 

How is AI progressing since last month video? I think I would probably expect a better field spread and defending/attacking manouvers in 1.6

 

Is the new beta build are release for the lucky paddock players ? I think the last one was 16 days ago ?

That means the second half of the stream is more representative of the behavior of the AI? I have to admit that I only followed the first half of the stream because the stream always stopped for me. And all I wanted to see was the AI (mainly).

I now know blindly that the cars and tracks will become Reiza standards. Personally, I can better assess physics when I have the steering wheel in my hand.

From where should you watch the stream to see the AI behavior? What level of aggression should we look for? Medium?

 

I don't remember the stream and don't want to watch it again but it has also been mentioned that you won't get 'correct' AI behavior unless you run a fair amount of Qualifying time. As someone who barely has time to play, I wish that is something that could better be just 'simulated'. Not sure I understand why the AI has to have such a long run time to 'calibrate', or why that can't happen offscreen, even if it requires a longer loading time for a race.

 

On what basis would you sort the cars into speed order? When there are so many different tracks and each driver has their own skills that interact differently with different weathers and different reactions (both driver and car) to the weather conditions that change throughout the sessions......

That said, the stream made me a bit suspicious of AI multi class, even in practice they didn't seem great at getting past slower traffic even when much quicker, it didn't look greatly improved on 1.5 from what I saw there. Fingers crossed that's the WIP nature but it's the first thing I'll check as it's muly biggest 'hope for' with 1.6.

 

If you dont do qualis it could just set them high to low from their quali stat in the config. If they have that setup

 

I've done a full one hour qualifying session yesterday, with F1 Classic Gen 4 (1.5 version of course)...IA 120 max aggressivity...what I've noticed is that they set theyr best laptime in the very first flying lap...and in the rest of the session (about 55 min), despite the track improvment with grip, they haven't been able to improve theyr laptimes...without mention the fact they had such a strange silly behaviour, like keep coming in and out of the pit every 3-4 minutes...really hope 1.6 will be able to improve all this!

 

It's nearly Halloween, imagine the update released on the 31st of the month to scare the heck outta sim racing it's sooo good*
