If you are experiencing high contrasted and false colours in AMS2 after Win11 update 24H2 please look for AutoHDR setting in windows settings and disable that feature for AMS2.

AMS2 is not natively supporting HDR and this feature got forced onto the application by the windows update pretty likely if you ran into this issue.

Can the problem be fixed before 1.6 please , I can only get it to work with RTX HDR.. which means that I can no longer use overlays because the game is then played back in SDR... AMD graphics owners can no longer enjoy HDR at all,

future-wise would of course be a real HDR implementation that even supports VESA HDR 1400 and higher up to 2000 nitz to be able to fully use already available miniled TVs and monitors, an implementation like C.P.,

the difference between SDR and HDR is just huge and makes graphics look so much better, please don't get me wrong but I'm of the opinion that I prefer HDR over 3D graphics

Do you mean to say that all people who buy a new PC will now downgrade Windows in the future to play AMS2 in HDR ?

According to Reiza, AMS2 doesn't use HDR [period].
Previous Windows versions have HDR ignored by the game, until now when M$ forced HDR and some can't understand.
You can disagre but it is what it is.

I learned from Windows 8! If Windows 10 works just fine for what I need then I'll keep using it. I'm sure Windows 11 is fine buy and large but if I don't need it why use it?

End of support for Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7 | Microsoft Windows

You're good for the next year anyways, then you have to make a decision. I have 2 PC's, one on 11 and one on 10. I prefer 11. My other PC will never have 11, as the BIOS will never support TPM 2.0, which 11 requires.
