I would understand impatience if we were talking about years. But a big update takes 2 months longer than ideal: what a desaster!

You should talk to DCS players. They have been waiting for a dynamic campaign for how long, 20 years?

 

And how many years before they fix the windshield wipers on the Mosquito? Yes, I'm also one of them with a 1TB game folder of non-finished products that never get fixed.

 

As long as you don't cook your tires and keep them in the optimal temperature you'll be good.
I made the mistake of pushing too hard and cooking the tires in beta, it didn't end up well.

 

- It's a disaster of their own making though. They've announced it early to fuel the hype. It's only their fault if the fuel catched on fire.
- There are some obvious bugs that should be fixed (will be with 1.6 I assume) and it's annoying to wait for them to be fixed. If they postponed the release of the new content, I wouldn't really mind at all. But the bugs are really not ok.

Just because some players have it worse, it doesn't mean we should be ok with this.

Is it the end of the world? No, of course not.
Is it something they're not handling correctly? It is. And everybody has something to learn from this.

 

Reiza provided some 3d assets for this series that's now coming out, I think. Just watching the trailer makes me want to play in the Mclaren 4/5B and make some atmospheric trails!!!!

 

I have not tried the beta, have we heard how the handling of the two updated cars (f ultimate 2 and stock car 2024) has changed in the latest build?

 

Yeah, the 1.5 versions is nowhere near what they are in the 1.6 update. They are far better in the update

 

As much as I’m enjoying 1.5.6 I’m still just champing at the bit to start this 90s DTM championship I’ve put together, but I don’t want to do it without the Quattro

Same goes for a mixed GT championship without that Corvette or Audi R8. Thankfully there are like a dozen other fun classes in the mean time.

 

If I were you, I would start that DTM championship anyway - if the new update is still far, you would be able to complete the whole thing, and if the devs suddenly release it - well, the entire community has you to thank....

 

I'm looking forward to the new content too, including looking for something to read, I'm looking at the older Dev updates, and I ended up finding this image, then a question came to me, what could have happened to the Aston Martin gt3?

Oh HOW I would love an AMR license. I am secretly hoping that now that they're joining LM(D?)h from next year, we'll get a higher chance of a license through the IMSA connection. Another jewel in AMS' crown.

Oreca, at least. Come to think of it I can't remember if there is evidence of others... oof! Ford maybe? Or does that not count as premium

Or maybe what happened with Lamborghini is happening with Aston where the manufacturer wants their LMDh/LMH to be released along side their other cars. Remember that Aston was originally supposed to be one of the first LMH manufacturers but delayed it, which would explain why we haven't seen much of Aston outside of that first tease.

Also... if it was licensing issues wouldn't you expect that Aston would've told Reiza to remove that image?
