I suggest ReTHAWed. It's an amazing mod for Tony Hawks American Wasteland that add a large amount of levels from the Tony Hawks series (THPS 1 - Project 8), most of the characters including ports from other Neversoft games like Gun and Guitar Hero. You can have the physics and UI from the the vast majority of THPS games, and theres just so much more thats it's hard to go over everything. Probably my favorite mod ever, it's just so impressive that the THPS community was able to pull this off

 

One kind person has just now posted several videos about racing new cars in v1.6. I won’t say the name of the channel, but you can find it very easily in a search on YouTube. He shows new content there because we are all tired and want it.

Yup, clearly the videos were published to get some views as the demand for sure is there. But foolish and stupid to breach NDA if you'd ask me, not kind.

 

If anything the one video I watched just now is a better display of the AI and proper racing than that cursed streaming.

 

As someone who has wanted to make something for 1.6 basically since the 1.6 beta started its incredibly frustrating. We'll just leave it at that understatement.

 

The guy give what we were promise. More preview in few day. Only non paddock club understand and appreciate what he does.

 

Going off of the trailer it strikes me as a lot more of a docudrama type of thing ala Rush than a flat-out documentary in the style of Senna, will possibly stretch the truth a bit for the sake of having a good narrative (then again Senna '10 arguably did the same thing with its' portrayal of Prost and the FIA so hopefully they don't make the same mistake)

 

Yeah, the untold horrors of not being a paddock club member must be soul destroying. In due time history will recognize it as being on par with many other great injustices people have faced in the past.

Ok, maybe not But +1 for drama, I'll give you that.

V1.6*, I only came in at the second round of the beta -I was on the same side of the fence as you are now- at some point.

Was I annoyed at times when updates were late? Sure. I doubt I ever was as "assertive" as you are though, missed opportunity

 

I liked what was in these leaked videos.
Every day a video comes out, and the guy drives very well and is simply pleasant to watch, plus the quality of the video is adequate. These videos are enough to give people something to talk about. Just one short race on each new car and new tracks. We still won't understand much about the new tire model, but at least we'll get some visual satisfaction.
