It seems to me that for cars from the past, you have to negotiate with the manufacturers. With the agreement obtained from Audi, we may soon have the R8, R10, R15 or R18.

With the UI improvements, I hope the multiplayer lobby is on the list? Or is it just an overhaul of pretty much everything?

Currently when waiting for a session, there's no way to find out what the status of the race actually is, just says "Racing". When going in to Spectate, I wanted to exit and clicked the exit button, only to find out I was entirely removed from the lobby, instead of being put back into the lobby screen? Which was really unexpected.

 

Lusting for late 60s, early 70s cars like 906, 917, 330p, Lolas, Marta v12, all of the Fords in Le Mans etc. Also Group 5 seems a natural extension of the AMS2. Also Jaguar would go along with the Aston Martins we all dream about.

 

i am about 99% sure that there will be 3 DLC packs at this point.

Pretty much everything has a complete overhaul. The multiplayer browser, lobby and session screens provide more information than previously. UI design is very subjective in many elements and may not be what everyone wants but it does convey more info on the screen.

 

Documenting this on the off chance Satan can help get 1.6 out before my new job starts picking up for real.

 

Please tell me that the UI change will increase the number of championship slots that can be played simultaneously, otherwise all this UI fiddling isn't worth the time...

I assume there could be an IMSA pack with new tracks and an Endurance Pt 2 featuring the Audi GT3 Gen2, Lamborghini GT3 Gen2, Lamborghini LMDh, Alpine LMH, and Oreca LMP2

4 championship slots doesn't seem that constrictive to me and surely those needing more than that are a very niche group. It seems absurd to say that any other work on the UI is wasted time. What about the janky scrolling isn't that time worth spending?

We all have individual wants and needs from the game but they have to be put in the perspective of what benefits the most users when the time spent on features is brought into the equation.

Bit surprised (I shouldn't be) that two weeks after making the OP there's no news to add to it, unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

With anything that represents a real car you have to talk with the licence holders. But I doubt Reiza have any blanket agreement for anything, just an agreed list of cars with strict terms and conditions around their production (in Audi's case stricter than most, gauging by Codemasters and SMS' livery restrictions)

I think that's a bit optimistic, but I really hope to see a CSL in the GT Classics set at some point, ideally with a Capri too but no sign of any Fords yet, so that's a bit less likely. Sadly I don't see the Jag coming any time.

For the Le Mans classics, we've got loads of cool cars already so anything that adds depth to the existing classes is cool for me; a Panoz GTR1 or Aston Martin AMR-1 (Group C) would be high on my wishlist

I want more championship slots than four. Sometimes I feel tin top, sometimes I feel open wheel, etc. Everyone is different.

 

Funny, only you had that deadline. Everyone else, and the king herself, understands that it will be ready, when it is ready.

I believe you are very anxious, and you should play something to reduce your anxiety. or watch the formula 1 classification in interlagos, nascar in Martinsville, wec in Bahrain.

there are so many competitions to watch. or wait for 5 pm (Brasília time) put on a VPN and watch Hamilton walk with the boss's MP4/6

I would be happy with more slots myself,
I was just pointing out that more slots is not exactly the most important thing when it comes to the UI.
