Love this amazing app. I am seeing a weird issue, my gap to 1st is not showing at all, whereas for all the others, it is displayed. Attaching screenshot. Whichever track i race at, my gap to 1st is never displayed.

 

That's because it is not gap to leader, but gap to you. So the information on P1 row is your gap to P1.
I've done it this way becasue you generally want to gauge the gap you have to another driver (be it P1, or P10), not necessarily what that driver has to between him and P1.

To be clear, i am trying to get the entire display to be as similar to the F1 live timings screen from f1.com during a race. I went through all the settings, for instance in Settings -> Columns, there are 2 gap columns one can add, gap and gap to Prev. Would it be possilbe to add gap to leader ?

 

Hey @Matus Celko, first of all, Second Monitor is amazing! Really great addition to AMS2.
I have a small problem/question. When I do Time Trial, the first lap I do doesn't get saved as a record. Here is an example:



I have never driven this car/track combo and in my first lap I did a 00:55.613. When I pause the game after the first lap and check Second Monitor, my lap was logged, and I see the lap time, sector time and so on. But it says I don't have a record (Class or Vehicle). Only if I do a second lap in the same session, then it counts. See how my 00:55.740 is set as my record, even when I had a better time in the first lap. Is this a setting issue?

 

Tech question, why does the excel report sometimes doesn't match the real race results?
Data is often not correct.
I don't mean fastest lab or so but also the places gained and actual finished positions.

Most likely the app identifies the first lap as invalid, that's why it is not a correct record. I have to check why it happens.

There are two race reports created - When player crossed the finish the line, as this is the last time the data are accurate in all sims. After this the behavior can vary sim to sim... that's why some positions might not be correct.

Another time is when the session is exited, this is for sims where the data are correct after player crosses the finish line. Tbh, I'm not sure right now if AMS 2 is one of those sims.

Could you please attach the log file?

 

I've found one issue which could be causing it... so there is a possibility it is fixed in todays update.

 

I would love a fix on that bug! I really like to drive Time Trial on longer tracks like Nordschleife or Le Mans and more often than not I have to restart a lap due to a driving error. Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks for your great software! This is really awesome!

If it helps debugging: this not only happens in TT but also in Test Day, where you start from the pits. I noticed that the real outlap (from the pits) is displayed with "N/A" and after you cross the start/finish line to start the first timed lap it switches to outlap.

 

Thanks for the log, I pushed another update, hopefuly it is fixed.

I will check it out, and hopefuly get that fixed
