Getting back on track they just put up a new beta in the last hour…

also on topic but maybe not part of the train. Does Reiza has a handling consultant like acc and iRacing do?

 

This train and update situation reminds me waiting for the train and in the screen it was saying coming in 0 minutes but nothing in the horizon

 

Is the new beta release from today, the definitive version or there still have other beta release in the futur ?

Oh boy... I was hoping that with the last one being still for >6 days we were quite there, but apparently we are not...
Quite a sad time for non beta supporters, and having beta members saying " I can't tell" Or "you will se when ready" Is the cherry top on the dev-silence grief cake

 

Just talking about content coming along with 1.6, if anyone complains about it when it all becomes public I'll then find out where they live and shove open cans of surströmming through their letterboxes!

 

For a realese candidate it will take weeks to come or sooner ?

 

Anybody watching the Nascar final tonight? I was one of those that tought "hur dur they only turn left" until recently, but damn that **** is entertaining after I gave it a go and watched.

Not just entertaining, going 340+ kph around indianapolis in an indycar side by side is one of the most intense racing you will ever get....

 

I did watch Indy 500 this year, it was amazing.

 

But are the dev team confident about the work that is needed to do beacause say finishing stages and no giving date can be confusing

I truly don't envy your job and position.
The fact is that your last two posts say it all. "Final" Can/could be whatever time frame (and we had several demonstration of this).
"Weeks" Can be anything also, from 2 to 57 and more....
I also understand Reiza being a) overwhelmed by work (which actually is a bit contradictive of being in "final/polishing" State) and b) tired of the community and the bad words so that they decided to stop informing.
The fact is that at this point I think that any threads about 1.6 is not only useless, but harmful for ams2 and community.
I think it would be better to close all discussions about 1.6.
Nothing useful can be added or said which is not already present in >250 pages.... I think we shall start discussing again once Reiza will tell us something new (or we have something real -video-pics-posts) to discuss about.

 

Some of this list feel very random guess or not supported by anything.

• I'd be amazed if historic Le Mans came alongside a bunch of IMSA DLC, I am pretty sure it will warrant its own patch and release cycle
• Is Zandvoort based on anything at all? I half expected it to be the final 'Premier Track Pack' track but that turned out to be Barcelona, no reason I've seen to expect it since
• I think an Alpine GT4 is likely at some point, but just because they've licenced and modelled it doesn't mean it would come in the next update regardless
• I think you may have some Lamborghini mixups there. GT3 Gen1 and Gen2 and 'Huracan' (Super Trofeo?) would seem a bit overkill; maybe two of those at most IMO
• I looked around for any reference to a 'Veneno' in AMS2 and couldn't find anything, but you've listed that on 'leaked' cars?
