Took part in this and lots of fun was had!

Have a 4K recording from my POV ready to go once we get the go ahead, but i didn't encounter any issues on my end and really enjoyed everything...including when i lifted off the throttle so Renato could pass me safely going into a corner and then proceeded to spin right infront of him.

Will the "fidelity improvements" for spectating in replays also include improvements on the way opponent onboards are looking ? Quite often their onboards look quite stiff in the current version, not like you would drive yourself
If no, do you think it would be possible to increase the tickrate or whatever to prevent such odd looking onboards later down the road ?

2nd question:
Is it planned to show us the expected standing time for the current pit settings or allow us to abort repairs (like iracing f.e.)
Sometimes the hud shows 0 dmg everywhere and yet starts repairing stuff, it's kinda irritating. (i assume it's because the damage is below 0.5 points or whatever and it's not rounded up.)

Everything is looking lit btw, been really excited since the Imsa Announcement dropped and it appears we slowly come closer to our hands on it.

Since the grid size restrictions are due to stability, did you also test the bigger grids in a private small session, like only a friend or two and the rest AI ?
Cause it would be quite neat if it were to work in the smaller network client manner

I streamed this race in 4K to myself (privately, to make sure it was secure and away from prying eyes), so everything you'll hear is as it happens...including the swearing, that reminds me actually i need to do a suitable thumbnal for when we can show stuff.

Did have a multi-lap battle with a M4 GT3 that was a blast.

Im not going to imply that i'd be using the feature often but perhaps allow the bigger AI grids paired with 2-5 humans if its stable enough.

Would allow for friends that do not like racing randoms to get a nice experience for self hosted endu simulations etc.

Question probably would be though how to visualise it and warn players that join for requiring the additional memory etc.

Might be too much of an headache for the amount of work required.

In case a online championship with one or two friends is in the works, similar to the F1 games, i would love that option though.

Great to see a new video. But boy there is lots of warping of the cars.

 

It isn't so bad, i only saw one big warping, which was highlighted as well, keep in mind that race had people from all over the globe, assuming Renato was in Brazil, and the server located in Europe, even other sims have issues with that, some even a lot worse than this...

Always good to have people watch a 30+ minute video, and the only comment is a negative one, even though there are a lot of positives to be taken from it...

 

Nice to see a video, but is there any need for midroll youtube Ads in a promotional video?

 

Yey, I personally don't mind the MP much but good to have a nice long preview video and some interesting non-MP stuff in there too, like the variable camera views. Must say the track and cars look amazing, can't wait for Road Atlanta.

Authentic Rexy livery on the no77 Porsche so I (sadly) assume the fictional ones will make way.

Agreed, these videos are really nice.

 

I was in that race, but didn't experience any warping at all. It ran pretty much flawless on my side. Not trying to sugarcoat anything, but i guess your milage may vary
