If I were Reiza I wouldn't release on the weekend with the level of hype and anticipation riding on 1.6 by the time they come back from the beach on Monday there could be all out civil war in the forum if the slightest bug slips through. As much as I would like to see a weekend release of course. And I wouldn't stoke any flames, muchly.

 

They are going to do a couple of days on release where everyone gets to play the new content free. Doing that outside of a weekend when many people wont find time to try it doesn’t make much sense.

Steam DB has two versions of AMS2, the beta and the public. The beta is moving, but if you are not beta tester there is no point to check that version. The public version is not moving since the 27 October. So they are still finalizing the beta!

 

From my experience after a release all hands are on deck fixing issues. I guess no one will have beach time until after the first hotfixes.

 

Sure! Plus, this is not like the other releases. From what has been said, this is like a new game.

Is it possible to create the shortcut in practice and Qualy on the Nürburgring Nordschleife? As i live only a few km away from the Nürburgring i drive this the most.But it is always annoying driving a hole lap before the timed Lap begins.

 

Has the GTE class been made faster in version 1.6? I’ve noticed that on some tracks, the gap with the GT3 (Gen1) cars isn’t as large as it should.

 

As far as I'm aware, ACC is the only sim that has incorporated the bypass at the end of the GP loop. I would not expect it to appear in AMS2's version as the track has been done for some time now, but I'd love to be proven wrong!

 

Since the upcoming DLCs are mostly about endurance racing, I hope that after 1.6. we will able to assign a button on our steering wheels to flash (or "pulse") headlights.

 

Race Room Nordschleife has it too. Even the AI takes the shortcut on their first outlap. We also need that in AMS2.

 

Nice, been a long time since I was in Race Room. Sounds like they've been pushing content and updates to their sim at a fast pace recently. Good to know another sim opted to feature a very useful feature of Nords. I would welcome it in AMS2, I just wouldn't expect it. I hope I'm very wrong!
