Up next... Video proof GP4 visuals and handling better than AMS2

As laughable as that opinion piece sounds, why bother comparing to 1.5 anyway being as its soon to become upgraded in almost every single department

 

Oh well, who would have thought that people may like different things. We all dress the same, listen to the same music, watching the same movies and play the same games.

Play what you like and allow others to play what they like. It's as simple as that.

 

Dude, I understand your frustration, but it's simply an objective comparison between two titles where I’ve shared my personal point of view. My intention was to highlight specific features I’d like to see in AMS2 while we wait for the big 1.6 update. It's not about advertising RaceRoom, and I’m sorry if it came across that way. It’s not forbidden to spark some discussion while we wait, and I believe comparing different aspects of both games can lead to a more constructive conversation on what could be improved in AMS2.

 

Why are you even here when you havnt played AMS2 in 1.5 years?

IMO you didn’t make it sound like you were trying to find what AMS2 can improve on, but that Raceroom is very close to AMS2 in a lot of aspects. It sounded more like a comparison

 

Hey I don’t think anyone here is ‘idiot,’ and calling people that just for sharing their opinions is pretty childish. As I’ve already explained, my post was just an objective comparison to keep the discussion alive while we wait. Everyone has their own perspective, and that's what makes debates interesting. But hey, if putting blindfolds on to avoid seeing other opinions helps you sleep better, go for it. Just don’t expect to be part of any real discussion that way.

Looks more like a sly dig at Reiza and then advertising your yt channel after berating them on a thread dedicated to discussing the upcoming cars, ergo my "spuds" comment.

Anyway it's straying ot now...so, the Super Trofeo was a real nice surprise to me 1st time I drove it to the fact it's one of my faves out of the all the cars coming #soon.

Can't unhear that break squeak now. Please add some break squeaking to the onboard audio in a not to distant game update

 

I dont go to other forums to spread the gospel of AMS2 or something, this is what your post looked like, just to try and spark some problem.

 

Does it not cross your mind that maybe the idea is to redo the same comparison with 1.6? To remake the same video but replace the RaceRoom footage with AMS2 1.6 footage, so you can better appreciate the changes? I think you could be less confrontational and a bit more creative than that.

 

Since we're comparing different software now, wait 'til you guys hear about the latest accounting software package we're using at my work. It does balance sheets AND profit and loss records far better than AMS2, and while you wait and wait for AMS2 to be able to predict sales for next quarter, I can use my accounting software to generate predictions right now. I'll link to my youtube channel so you can see it in action!

 

Ahh sorry, yeah I admit, I didn't think of that. That sounds OK tbh. My apologies. The thought of Raceroom being so much better than AMS2 and the inflammatory language towards AMS2 initially threw me off.

I understand that this is not to your liking. The objective comparison refers to the videos being original and unaltered in any way, allowing for an objective view and sound of the differences. I mentioned that my opinion is personal, and everyone is free to draw their own conclusions, but it seems no one here is interested in the debate. I apologize if I upset anyone, and I won’t post anything like this again.

I'm not young anymore, I've been playing racing games since the ZX Spectrum checkered flag. I don't think AMS2 has cartoonish graphics at all! I think the visuals are by far the best among PC simulators. And the feeling of "physics" depends a lot on the controls and their settings.
