Are there any new Brazilian tracks planned with 1.6 and beyond? My favourite part about ams1 and ams 2 are the Brazilian tracks. You guys have some absolute bangers over there which are 10x more fun than the usual tracks we get.. *yawning at spa and monza* my least driven vehicles are probably gt3s and least driven tracks are definitely the "premium a-grade" tracks such as those listed above. I and many other thoroughly enjoy the domestic choice of cars and tracks only on offer in a reiza title. So please, should the opportunity arise to add more BR and South American tracks, jump on it . Looking forward to 1.6 (hoping my tendon injury heals over this next week)

 

That’s personal choice but I totally get you.
In one of my communities, every Friday we drive different combinations for a 45 min race (this Friday it’s old Lotus at historic SPA for example). Lots of tracks and cars are driven and I love that. We experiment with all the content you could say.
Afterwords we have several smaller races with fixed setup.
I’ve driven tracks (also from Brazil) that I would have probably never set a tire on.
To me, the variaty in AMS2 is one of its strongest pillars of fun!

 

More South American tracks (they are quick, unsafe and dirty) and maybe a categorie like the TCR would be amazing. We've seen great racing with this combination all year.
NASCAR Brasil aswell, a nice stock categorie with a colourful grid.

Indeed AMS2 greatest feature is all around motorsport for racers.

 

Sales have started on Steam, AMS2 is on sale and the update has not been released.

I am speechless.

 

Reiza has put a new video on Youtube so don't despair. The release it said to be imminent (REIZA words not mine) so it might happen this weekend.

So, how many times have you all watched the vid? I'm up to three...

 

Right click in the main build > properties > DLC tab, the new DLC packs are showing up, that probably means the release of update 1.6 is near.

 

Here I made a short summary for everyone who does not have the time to watch the whole thing:

I saw the video and there is a career mod in the ui but greyed out.
I didn't run the game for months and don't know reiza added it with the recent updates or it's a new feature.
Do you know anything about it?

 

The long-awaited carrer mode is being teased in v1.6 on the main menu, but it is not planned to arrive until a later update (no information about when, but Reiza is likely planning it for 2025 and beyond)

In the meantime, the presets and championships cover a lot of ground when it comes to picking a class and racing on realistic track combos with realistic session settings, as a Career mode probably will do as well.

 

Reiza planning it for 2025 would mean it's gonna arrive no sooner than 2027.

 

On the topic of arriving, Dicra… it looks like maybe your v1.6 arrival date gambling histogram is not too inaccurate

 

Yet to be announced, the DLC will be made free due to all the YouTube ad revenue!

 

Some people are so anxious to play the 1.6 update that they wish real life was like a AMS2 replay, so that they could make time go 20x faster and in that way make the update come faster.

Youtube Ads in what is basically a 1 hour Advertisement...
