Foggy mirrors in MP Mode bug?

Maybe someone finds a way to reproduce it

 

Had this bug also from time to time in 1.5 (and one time in 1.6) in VR and only in MP sessions. High res mirros are disabled.

 

Can't confirm. Played PC1 and 2 with both Nvidia n AMD config, PC2 with multiple headsets and never had such. And I still play PC2 for comparison sake. So I tend to state it's an AMS2 only issue. Do you have a screenshot showing foggy mirrors in PC2?

 

Just had the bug after a long time and many races in Multiplayer (LFM) yesterday. New was for me that the side mirrors were completely fogged out, while the back mirror was about 60% fogged out.

I play in VR. High Res Mirrors are enabled.

 

I've had fogged mirrors in both VR and single screens. For me it has happened when I am in a different car than the host (but not every time).
I'm currently logging all my MP sessions to see if I can discover a pattern for when mirrors are fogged out.

 

Here the mirror only suffers from this bug in multiplayer mode. And the bug only appears in the central rearview mirror. I use powerful hardware here (4080 super + Ryzen 7800x3d). So I believe it has nothing to do with the hardware but with the simulator. It's a shame that such an old problem like this is not solved.

 

It's probably very difficult to reproduce reliably. And until a bug is easy to reproduce, it is hard to fix...

 

Only happens to me randomly in a MP lobby during Practice and/or Qualify, BUT as soon as the actual Race starts the clear mirrors are back. Hope that helps to solve it. Still no work around as far as I can tell.

 

Are you able to reproduce consistently/on-demand? If yes, please provide the steps to reproduce.

 

I’ve had fogged up mirrors in all three sessions in one of the ‘official’ beta multiplayer tests…

 

Hi. The problem is still here . I had it yesterday (16 July 2025)
Center mirror unusable and side mirror blurred to 60-80% .

My system is
Rtx 5080
9800x3d
32 gb ram

VD AND Quest3

Graphics are high to medium for good fps even with rain and night and the race was without it so I had a lot of room for performance.

It could be host dependent.
Because
1) it happens only online.
2) never Wenn I m the host.

Could it be possible that if the host Don t use real car mirrors and desactivat all mirror options then the server applies his options to other drivers?
