Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

Report: Broken look back camera, pretty unusable, as you can't see what's actually behind the car
Steps to reproduce: Assign "Look back" shortcut, press it in car.

Car Used: Oreca 07 and Ligier JS
Applicable Settings: single race 25 mins real weather
Report: lap one turn 4 all the AI almost come to a stop
Steps to reproduce: Run the race, it happen to me 3 times over 2 days. They were 3 attempts in a row to run the race.

Report: Overlays and UI change into old and new
Steps to reproduce: In a race online when you drive you get a leaderboard design, when your are in monitor view, you can see a different design, the new one, and when you are host and want to stream a race, you become to espectator or race director and it shows the old design.

Report: Drivers that was racing on a session disappear after they get DQ, DNF or Disconnected, for us it is an error because we stream races for the community and need all the info during the streaming for race information, and look.
Steps to reproduce: In a race online when the drivers disappear from leaderboard.

Applicable settings: AI Dry/Wet skill:104 / 1.00x, 48 cars, 4 weather slots: light cloud/sunny/rain/sunny, 30 Laps, LiveTrack: Heavy rubber, Rolling Start: Yes, Formation Lap: Yes, Pit Stop Refuelling: Yes, Mandatory Pit Stop: Yes, 30 mins qualifying, Race Start: 14:00 - 10/09/2024, Custom Race (no presets used)
Report: 3rd weather slot (RAIN) never happened, no need to change to wet tyres at all
Steps to reproduce: Drive the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II GT3 Gen2 at Monza using the above settings and see a fully dry race.

Report: When making multiclass race with lmdh, lmp2, and gt3 using manual grid, the lmp2 cars were replaced by more gt3s when the race loaded
Steps to reproduce: Create a multiclass singleplayer race with manual grid and add lmdh, lmp2, and gt3

Report: When caution comes out, pits are not closed, so not the leader comes in the first, if he has passed the pit entrance, but some "luckier" cars further down the order. Positions change drastically, of course, it's quite chaotic.

Report: Fingers are clipping with the steering wheel and gear-shifting animations are missing.

Car Used: LMP2 G2
Applicable Settings: LFM race, no demanding weather, rolling start (no formation lap)
Report: Was keeping the 120 speed limit, think I slowed down slightly while waiting for lights to go green. Lost a place at the start as other guy seems to go before the green. But yet, I get a drive through penalty, for speeding. Probably well noted by now that something needs to change to run rolling start in a competitive setting.

When it was also formation lap used, I also got a DQ for crossing the line before lights went out. This was at daytona road course, with LMDH.
Steps to reproduce: Drive a race with rolling start.

Report: A additional "Drive" button is half shown on the lower part of the screen
Steps to reproduce: Do Single Race and either skip practive/quali or turn them off
EDIT: may be relevant: screen size is 2560x1600 in borderless mode

Applicable Settings: Test day, in the dark/around midnight, any rain or thunder
Report: Once it goes dark, rain stops coming onto the windscreen
No need for whipers once it becomes dark since it stops showing rain on the windscreen
Steps to reproduce: Drive at night with rain

 

Track & Layout Used: Road Atlanta
Car Used: GT3 Gen2
Applicable Settings: Online LFM night race
Report: At the quali, you can see the shadow of the ghost cars from the headlights as if they are already on the track

Report: An AI car getting trapped in my garage.
Steps to reproduce: Just stayed in my garage, car drove in there and got "trapped"

Report: The Super Trofeo preset is not showing up for me on the 1.6.3.1 update. Is there something I may have deleted when moding that would be removing it from the menu

 

v.1.6.3.1 - my custom set of opponents for the race changes and the selected car constantly changes to chevrolet cruse stock car after restarting the game. Every time I have to change the multiclass grid and remove the Stock Car class from it.
In the v.1.6.3 update this is DEFINITELY not the case, because I have been actively testing custom AI settings for the second day and restarting the game 50 times a day.

 

Not such a bug but a livery error in the GT5 class Puma as seen below.
Number 6 car has number board 9 on the car livery.

 

It's just not there for everybody. I suppose it will be added next patch.

Additional: it's also glitchy on the championship session settings, it takes ages for the race distance and ai aggression scales to highlight.
