The front end feels too light and lacks bite on corner entry.

    It's a good update, but on some cars, I feel like the front tires don't grip well on corner entry. The same goes for the rear end when accelerating out of corners, even with tires at optimal temperature. Sure, if I approach the corner slower and accelerate less aggressively on exit, it works, but there's still no real feedback from the FFB.

    This has been an issue right from the start. The feeling of the tyres loading up is rather low, it's almost as if the cars are too stiff, and the suspension or tyre doesn't compress enough when under load.
    It is certainly less noticeable than in other sims.
    The strange thing is, when you try "Mod" cars, they seem to compress much more.

    It results in a feeling of floating and the sensation of a central pivot... particularly on the GT3 cars.
    Less pronounced than before but still too much to fully enjoy this update.

    Is that TC that flashes up traction control? If so the only thing I'd suggest is dialing down the TC to 0 and driving it and see if you still feel that the traction etc is unpredictable.

    Certainly most of my experience in AMS2 is in cars that don't have assists or cars that have assists for no reason (Like why would any manufacturer put TC on the VWs? There's more chance of breaking traction on a pedal car)

    To me that makes sense because the TC isn't 'the vehicle never loses traction' but it obviously isn't predictable when your throttle input is being modulated by something else - and where is that traction stopping or going? To the rear wheels.

    For the ABS I note it wasn't a big deal. At least on the default ABS value in set up I can just stomp the brake to the floor as you'd expect and the car slows without locking up. But the TC isn't "I can just stomp on the gas" and it works but it feels odd whereas TC on 0 it's like I feel my foot is controlling the rear.

    This floating feeling is exactly what the ginetta G40 feels for me.

    The P3 Rocco on the other hand feels amazing. Can really recommend that car

    The word on the street from people who prefer the FFB of other sims is that you can make the front end FFB "bite" more by making the following adjustment:
    • Options=>Controls=>Configuration: increase Steering Deadzone
    The default is 0, while a setting like 100 will make the steering load up more pronounced when the weight is transferred to the front on corner entry. It also affects the self-centering force when the rear kicks out.

    NOTE: When using a gamepad, this setting is indeed a steering deadzone like the description says, but not when using a wheel, for some unknown reason. I've seen some claims that it is a kind of reverse FFB deadzone, or some kind of dampening.
