This issue occurred in 1.5 and I was hoping 1.6 would fix it but unfortunately it has not. Whenever I enter any multiplayer lobby with license enabled my screen freezes for about 5-10 seconds, the audio is still live and the car is still moving despite everything being frozen. When the screen un-freezes the car usually has crashed or is further down the road. This has never happened in a lobby with license disabled. It also never happens in practice or qualifying sessions, only the race. From speaking to others it seems this issue is quite rare, however it is incredibly frustrating that I cannot compete in any lobbies to improve my license rating. Any advice, please let me know.

Can you try to disable udp in the system-tab. So where Shared Memory is.

Pretty much known issue with lobbies with rating turned on. Not sure you can do anything about it other than avoid those lobbies. The ratings are meaningless and don't keep bad players out, since it's simple to pad your ratings by just having a friend drive around with you in a lobby.

But yes, UDP should also be turned off as Marius suggested.

I had such a freeze in a normal single player practice, and it had never happened before in 1.5

graphics were stopped, but car + sound was still working and when the image started updating again I had crashed into the wall. if this would hapopen in a race it would ruin it.

I can try to disable UDP but It's needed for SimHub Dashboard

Simhub only used Shared Memory for the digital dashboard-stuff.

Probably something else then. Try a new AMS2 folder, verify cache, turn all programs off one by one to see which one if the culprit, check bios, usb-overflow, faulty usb-hub etc etc etc. It's something on your computer.

Yes of course, I'll delete everything on my computer now check BIOS overflow, pointer fade and mosfet virus, because it's totally impossible that it's a software problem
