    @Stakanov Hey man, I'm loving your ffb atm (lffb_custom_settings - 4 - ATMOS IMMERSIVE v1.6.3 (rFuktorBaseEVO+NDef_imm))
However on my csl elite, I'm struggling to feel the brake limit and subsequent lockup. Any suggestions how to increase this effect/feeling?

Yes, sure, just test it and decide based on your personal taste. No matter what you take, you have to have fun

No, not specifically for curbs. On FullFFB (current version) curbs are treated as offtrack, just like grass or gravel (with an incremented detail on medium frequencies).

Daniel, just wanted to let you know you have typos in the readme file for Simucube bases. You have "90" for the truedrive steering range, not 900. ;-)

Ohhh... :eek:Yes, of course it should be 900. Thank you for seeing it and for your info, I'll change it when I get the chance:)

    Hi,
could try changing the TEAR values.
In the file, under the heading
#Effect scales turn all these settings below to zero.

    (engine_scale_at_still 0.00)
    (engine_scale_at_speed 0.00)
    (flatspots_scale 0.00) 0.00
    (scrub_scale_front 0.00)
    (scrub_scale_rear 0.00)
    (tear_scale_front 0.00)
    (tear_scale_rear 0.00)

save the custom FFB file and run the game.
play around with the effects slider to achieve the effects level you prefer.
(there wont be a brake effect feel yet. there seems to be other effects occurring, even with the custom FFB effects set to zero. this step is to get a base line for the secondary effects.)
i had set it to only about 2, give or take 1 depending on the car used.
when set on only 5 the kerbs felt too strong through my wheel.
    then Exit the game.
the tear values below can be adjusted to suit your taste.
these are only rough settings in which i could feel a decent mild vibration on a VRS DD.

    (tear_scale 9.00)
    (tear_frq_scale 10.00)

    (tear_scale_front 7.00)
    (tear_scale_rear 5.20)

They seem very high when compared to the original values, ( but the in game effects slider is set very low)
another TEAR setting is under #TYRES Control
    (tear_threshold 0.20)
i set it to 0.8 for the vibration to come in later.
using an open wheel car is one way to compare the wheel vibration and tires locking up.
When ever playing around with custom files, i turn the audio for tires- road noise down.
can trick me into believing the wheel has a vibration when hearing tires skid, slip etc.

once your happy with your tear values, you can adjust the values below for the other effects. (one at a time).

    (engine_scale_at_still 0.00)
    (engine_scale_at_speed 0.00)
    (flatspots_scale 0.00) 0.00
    (scrub_scale_front 0.00)
    (scrub_scale_rear

scrub also has another setting to bring the effect in earlier or later.

    (scrub_threshold 0.35)

Note: The tear settings also cause a vibration when spinning tires.

    Hope it helps,
i actually don't use effects much.
info above could be wrong, as i only learn about functions in files by adjusting values and noticing the differences in the feel through the wheel.

Exactly what I was after, tx bro. Now it's just perfect even after very little fiddling. But now I saw my larger issue was during some changes I've made, I deleted the")" behind (tear_scale 0.5) therefore not getting any!

Thanks again for your advice.I will repost the file shortly with the correct steering angle of 900 degrees for Simucube 2 Pro.
In addition, both files reduce the vibrations when stationary. These "high-frequency sounds" could still be felt even when driving very slowly (up to about 30 km/h).A small intervention with a nice effect because less "smoothing" is needed, less smoothing means more details can be felt. With the Simucube 2 Pro, I was able to reduce the reconstruction filter V2 from 6 to 5. The files will remain on page 450 in this thread (V6000 Extreme 4)

Hey Daniel, followed your instructions for the file and Pithouse software settings for Moza R5 on the second V6000 file. I know you have recommended to have the frictions and inertias at zero, and the damper at zero in the software, but just wanted to get rid of some of the vibration engine stuff as I leave the pits etc, should I do this in your file? or in the pithouse damper? or the game damper? basically looking for a smoother less detailed feel which still gives me the basic steering rack load up as i turn.

That's exactly what I described in a post before you. The engine vibrations were a little too strong when standing and starting. I changed that with

    (engine_scale_at_still 1.5)

You can lower the value to 0 to suit your taste. Additionally, you can reduce FX until it suits your taste. I also recommend you take V6000 Extreme 4

    Maybe it will help you

Thanks for the info, I will test out the reconstruction filter at 5 instead of 6 now.

File V6000 Extreme 4 on page 450 has been extended with the dd bases of Conspit Ares (10Nm) and Conspit Ares Platinum (18Nm)
