I just tried it. Ran a complete event on StockV8 at Cascavel flawlessly, but one guy got the message and was kicked.

After that, went straight to MCR. After ~1 minute I got the message and was kicked out. Tried again and got kicked right away. Every other Official Server apart from StockV8 gives me the same result. Around 1 minute until it kicks me, then next time it kicks me right away.

 

And if you restart the game and then join the server? I think something isn't getting reset, so for now advice would be to restart the game if you get kicked out of a server. If it kicks after 60 seconds especially

 

Restarting doesn't help. I started the game and tried to enter the MCR Server right away with no luck. I could stay around 1 min before I got kicked. Btw, several people tried to enter it around the same time, and most of them got kicked also. At this time nobody knows any way around this

 

Yep, doesn't help. I started AMS and went straight to the Kart server. Now I get kicked right away. After some tries, I went to the StockV8 and it worked alright.

Maybe I was getting the 1 minute wait because the servers were reset, and that was my first run on them after that.

 

Ok thanks, yeah it's useful to know that restarting the game doesn't resolve it. Yeah the overall count seems to be at least reporting correctly on the ranked servers now, even if the classification is bugged.

 

Ok, managed to push another update, I think that it works ok as long as you restart the game before joining the server if you've been on another server. I can't fix that with out a proper patch.

If anyone notices any other issues, please let me know

I saw your post and tried, now it works

 

Maybe there still is some issue, first time I joined again I got the auth err but also the qualify timer was on 20:00.00. Then I tried again and it work ok.

Edit, could have been an one-time issue. All other times I have tried it works as expected.

 

How quickly should the rank be updated?

It didn't change after yesterday's StockV8 race with 4 players yesterday, and also today's MCR with 4 players as well.

It only dropped 2 hundreds probably because of the decay from time since scored race.

 

And yes, now the first drive at the server is good. If I get out and join any server, I get kicked. Restarting does the trick.

 

I'm not sure about those races Heitor, soon it'll be all visible on VX, but that's still in dev atm, so you just see the output as such. I'll ask when Dave is on.

I think I've fixed all the issues, if anyone would like to be a guinea pig and help with some testing you can run with the following SteamPlugin. Servers running the updated plugin should report players and classification correctly, and clients running the updated plugin should be able to join multiple servers in the same game session with out issues.

Replace the existing file in:

SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Automobilista\Plugins

Making a backup of the original is probably advised though.

If this works ok for people, we'll push it out asap.

 

Well, I replaced this file, gone to TT a little bit and after I joined in f3 server but AMS crashes before complete load the track.

After crash, I start again AMS and entry the f3 server with no problem.

 

just tried it, joined multiple different servers and stayed a few minutes, it works for me. yesterday i could only join a server once per game start.

 

Same here, no issues so far.

 

Just got kicked again after being on the server and doing some laps (f-ultimate). others were kicked as well. worked fine between then and replacing the file

 

I get the error on 2nd server after 30-60s, have tried twice.
First enter MCR and then F3.

When I get kicked from server and quit game, AMS crashes both times during shutdown.

 

Ok, well we're going to push a hotfix with these improvements as attached above and I'll try to track down the remaining issues over the coming week or so.

 

Bunch of us are testing on the Boxer server now if anyone can join.
