I believe it works, but mess with mouse control in menu screens. Will be nice an option to disable the rendering only when entering a session and keep menu screens at native monitor resolution. Madness Engine really have a big problem, like MSFS 2020, rendering 2D from VR, using tons of hardware resources.

 

so, since 1.6 i am using AMS 2 a lot more, so just 2 things i find really annoying

1. Setup names. Can we get rid of the almost 8.3 convention from the 80s please? i need longer names and notes would be a nice addition)

2. Automatic controller recognition. I have two wheels and change them from time to time, an automatic controller change is possible. ( i know that from ATS, witcher etc )

 

About online multiplayer.

It would be very useful to be able to save configurations for creating online lobbies. Currently the program only remembers the settings of the last lobby you participated in, regardless of whether it was created by us or others, and that is very annoying.

Less relevant but still interesting would be to be able to set a maximum player rating in addition to a minimum one to enter the lobby.

In general the internal rating/ranking system of the game should be more valorized, without having to rely on rankings from external sites.

In addition, I believe that in the final results, players who have dropped out of the competition should also be shown in the standings. Besides being more fair, it would be a way to discourage this way of playing.

 

In terms of visuals I think AMS2 could improve:

1) shadows in general, there are cars with amazing and detailed shadows inside and others looks like there were a lamp inside

2) particles in general. Today looks very bad specially in VR. Particles just look like a texture on top

3) Lights in general. For example semaphores or RPM indicator in the cockpit looks like a texture that is on or if… they don’t look like emissive lights.

Request Title: LMP3 category with Ligier JS P320
Description: I would like to recreate the Le Mans Cup series (LMC) in AMS2 with the LMP3 class represented by Ligier and the GT3 Gen2 class. In order to do that, the Ligier would have to be taken out of P1 category and put into its own LMP3 class.
Benefits: We can recreate another realistic endurance series, and allow talented modders to recreate realistic liveries for that.

 

The Ligier version in the P1 class races in the Endurance Brasil championship. It wasn't placed there by chance or as a whim. In the future, it might be possible to request a version with IMSA or ELMS specifications.

I’m still missing a flasher option in the bindable buttons, and having the missing Nords combined versions would also be a great addition

 

Love the game... and would like to see
1. Multiplayer lobby filters saved, so last one used applied every time
2. Auto save option for replays, with e.g. last 10 (user option) saved. Too easy at present to lose a replay if a mltiplayer session moves on
3. Abilty to change the default pit option and for it to remain in effect. At present it always reverts to the uneditable default and have to load a user specific one for every single session.
4. Would prefer if game defaults to the last car chosen that meets the multiplayer server requirement, e.g. if in a mixed class race I always choose the LMDH Porsche then that should be chosen by default (but of course i can still change).
5. Ability to bind basic chat items, e.g. Hi, GG, Pass etc
6. Multiplayer password saved per server, so if entering a server used previously game uses previous password
7. Car seating position saved per car (i think at present its saved globally). Some cars I prefer to be closer to the windscreen or sit higher for a better view.

Just a few. Its my number 1 now just few tweaks

 

I remember that Project Cars had a feature to accelerate time while in the pit. It could be interesting to include this for various reasons:

- During long sessions where the track is wet.
- To avoid simulating the session.
- To wait for the track conditions to improve.

 

Can we Make the onboard camera stop cycling again? or just make it the over the shoulder cam? all other cams have their own button.

 

It would also be interesting to have the possibility to manage tire and fuel consumption for each race in a customized championship or single event/free practice. Each round of the calendar would be adjustable at will. This would be useful for endurance races, where we have races of variable length, up to 24 hours.

 

Does anybody know if there are any plans for more GT4 releases in future updates?

Request Title: Knockhill Track Addition
Description: Addition of Scotland's only Motorsport track. Small, tight track used in the BTCC and always fantastic racing with great undulation, long straights and tight turns.
Benefit: A new track from a country which isn't yet represented. Would allow users to recreate the fabulous BTCC as well as Mini Championship Racing.

 

If helmet/cockpit VR camera position/rotation was recorded with the replay I could screen record races with telemetry after the fact.

 

Please fix the antialiasing for shadows and fences... please.

 

I would expect something to happen with V1.7

 

In lfm, Monza, winter time, no leaf on trees, sunset or sunrise... the road is a Christmas tree, shimmers all over the place, can't play in vr. Sad.

Hard to reproduce... on my oculus rift , msaa high, ss 1,5 on debug tool, rtx 3080ti.... the shadows on road surface are atrocious... due to :
