Sorry bro, your CPU might just do it, but that GPU wir 2 gig is incredibly weak.

if you can play with that and get 30-40 fps that's at least something .. maybe you can at least do training session with low settings and no weather. but I wouldnt bet my money on you doing big races with that setup.

I'm having an issue with my Logitech G920's accelerator pedal in Automobilista 2 (version 1.6). It was working fine yesterday, but after I closed and reopened the game, it stopped working.

• Game: Automobilista 2 (version 1.6), purchased yesterday.

The engine is barely audible.
While from the external view (pursuit) everything appears normal.
(This does not happen on all cars, Mini seems ok)

Hello, I'm having problems with the graphics during qualifying and the race in LFM. In practice the performance is acceptable, but in the race it drops to 40 FPS.
Then I tried the same combination offline and I am always at 100 FPS.

Any recommendations to improve the graphical performance in LFM servers?

 

EDIT: I have SOLVED the issue by myself, if it could be useful for other users with PXN V99, in the game the Wheel must be set as a "Legacy Wheel", in this mode it works perfectly

 

Wheel: Simucube 1.
AMS version: 1.6, but this is happening since 1.4 I think.
It happens in borderless mode, windows mode and fullscreen mode. Also in VR mode.
PC: Windows 11

I can play the game on my wheel as much as I want, but if I want to Alt+Esc, Tab or minimize AMS2 I can't use my wheel anymore, it stops being detected.

I've tried:
-Delete de "Automobilista 2" folder from mydocuments
-Reinstall the game
-Start the game as administrator, the simucube congiuration tool as administrator and both of them.
-Config the wheel as Simucube 1 and as Custom device.
-Close and open during the game the Simucube configuration tool.

I've recorded a video showing and explaining the problem, don't know if this happens on other wheels. I'm not having this issue on any other simulator.

This only happens on the Simucube. Pedals, shifters, screens and everything else still works after minimize the game.

 

The Championship option isn't working, even after deleting the game and reinstalling it. Single race works fine, as do testing, multiplayer, and time trial, but no option for Championship. Takes me to the next screen but just a red background.
When I first purchased the game it worked fine, and as a custom setup I added the Mosport track, which I understand could only use for the weekend. I'm wondering once that was taken away, did that mess with the Championship option? I created a Championship folder and placed in the Automobilista2 main folder, and closed and reopened the game, but still no Championship option showing. Thanks in advance for any help!

In W11, in sound settings, speaker settings, "spatial sound" I changed from "off" to "windows sonic for headphones".

Hi guys, do you know if there's a solution for the problem of missing MP sessions? I sometimes have this problem where I can't find a session even though I'm 100% sure it exists. It has already happened to me few times when I was looking for my LFM split but I was unable to find it.

I bought the game on Steam a couple of days ago and I have been having some major issues that are making my experience not enjoyable.

1.- Game freezes when alt+tab: when the game loses focus, it takes at least 10 seconds for the game to be usable again. This happens on menus, while racing, when loading content…

2.- Massive FPS drop when entering the pitlane in online races: When entering the pitlane in online races FPS drop massively to a point where it is no longer playable (more or less 1 frame every 5 seconds). The game doesn't recover from this until I restart the game. This also happened one time on the main straight.

Fixes I have tried without luck to solve this issues:
-Setting the game to “borderless window” and “window”.
-Setting “borderless window” as a launch command on Steam.
-Disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling.
-Setting the game in high priority in the task manager.
-Lowering graphic settings to low.
-Reinstalling the game.
-Verify integrity of game files.
-Updating Nvidia Drivers.
-Tried this tutorial:

Edit: I have found that the problem only occurs when my steering wheel (Logitech G923) is plugged on the usb. If I disconnect the wheel usb it works fine. Is there a way to fix this issue?

-1TB SSD NVME 2700 MB/s where Windows 11 is installed, 600GB free.
-2TB SSD SATA3 560 MB/s where the game is installed, also about 600GB free.

Hello, recently I've installed Thrustmaster TH8R along with a Fanatec DD1 wheelbase and SRP pedals. When selecting Fanatec DD1 base on the control panel I can assign TH8 buttons to upshift and downshift. But as I enter on track TH8R doesn't work and the bindings for upshift and downshift are redirected to the Formula V2 wheel. I've tried selecting Fanatec CSL base and then it works on track but there's no FFB. Using custom setting it's also not working as AMS2 is not detecting the wheel axis although I've followed the procedure described in another post. Is there a solution for that problem? Thank you.

 

Hello, i got Automobilista 2 a few weeks ago (i absolutely love it) and i have been enjoying it with LFM. But since the beginning really i have got screen freezes that are like 5 seconds but it happens very rarely, once a race, i would say like 1 in 10 races. These freezes cause me to go off track or usually crash out of the race because i cannot see where im going. It only happens in multiplayer and not singe player which is also weird and this is the only game that i have this issue with, so i have tried multiple things but i cannot seem to fix it, im not a computer expert but i feel like this has more to do with the game than with my PC. Lowering the graphics don't help either. Here are my specs either way, i honestly just accepted it at this point but its really annoying when it happen so maybe somebody here knows a fix?

Hi All, Total AMS2 newbie and loving it but I can't get championships to run either custom or default. I simply can't find a start button. I've watched videos of setting up championships prior to the 1.6 u/date but what I see doesn't seem to apply to the current build.

Hello, I have a problem with the pedals in AM2. It only happens in this game. It doesn’t occur in RaceRoom or Assetto Corsa. Every day for the past week, I’ve had to recalibrate them. When I press the pedal slightly, it already registers at 17%, and they rise very quickly. I usually disconnect the cables, change their ports, rename the pedals, and recalibrate them to make them work properly again. They are Moza SR-P pedals, and they also work fine in the Pit House software. I have no idea why this happens. I’ve uninstalled the game, deleted everything, and another day I verified the game files... In the end, by tweaking and renaming, it works, but it takes me quite a while. Has this happened to anyone else?

 

Hello i can't connect to aautomibilista 2 through steam i played long time ago with no issue
The game start and after the screen with all partner i get the message :

Sign in error! The game will now exit - unable to connect with error: steam is not running

What i have done :
- Check identity file - finish with no error
- resolved an issue when windows blocked the folder acces
- Check firewall - anything is granted
- Deleted "automibilista 2" folder in documents
- Close logitech ghub

Hi guys i have this problem. I have a Fanatc CSL pedal set with load cell and when play use a fanalab software with maurice ffb profile. When i play everi time i must made the pedal calibration beacuse at every session if i brake or accelerate at 50% of pression i staY at max power in game. Every sessio i must recalibrate the pedals.
