    Hi all,

When I want to assign a function to button no 11, the game tells me, “invalid input” in other games there is no problem with this switch. Any ideas or is this a known problem atm? See image for button layout on the wheel.
    It is button/switch no.11.

Found the problem. I had in the controle scherm as “make” the wheel base Fanatec selected.
And as model the Fanatec CSL DD separate pedals selected.

now I have it set to Custom and pedals to separate and now it works.
I don’t know if this will give a different feeling on FFB but I have to put it to the test.

Interesting, I'm having the same issue, I will try your solution.
Any development since your last post?

No it still is the same. To make it work I still have to use my “work around “
If you have a better solution then I would love to hear it. :D

No, no other solution, tried already both running with PC mode and Compatibility mode.
    Everything is up to date.

Will go with your solution, what is annoying is that even to calibrate sometimes, is super hard to recognize the wheel turning left/right. (but just in the setting up, after that is fine)

Bumping this thread to say I also have this problem, with this exact wheel, and exact button switch. I have a DD1 and the McLaren V2.

I need this switch for ERS deployment for the LMDh cars - but it gives me an "Invalid Input" every time I attempt to add it. The other switch was for Brake Bias, but I have to move the ERS there now, as it's far more pressing.

Please take a look at this bug when you have the chance - after 9 months since this report, it certainly needs addressing. Thanks.

Would be nice indeed. I still have to use a work around.

Turns out it's actually all three of my Fanatec wheels. The right side toggle switch is an "Invalid" input on the ClubSport Formula Wheel and the Podium 911 GT3 hub as well.

I also get multiple inputs sometimes when I don’t press anything other than one button. This is with a Formula V2.5X

I used to get multiple inputs when attempting to assign my handbrake. Completely deleting my Automobilista 2 folder in Documents was the only thing that fixed it. Assigning works fine now.

I have the same problem: "invalid input" for button/switch 11 (Mclaren GT3 v2 and CLS DD 8nm). If I change the "make" from "Fanatec" to "Custom", I can't correcly calibrate the wheel: the rotation of the real wheel is not the same as the simulated. If I go back to "Fanatec" preset, everything works flowlessy (apart the button/switch 11).
Please correct this bug, thank you.

When setting the game to custom, try to rebind the wheel and pedals and see if you cant calibrate it again

I had to do this when i upgraded to the CSW 2.5 base with Simagic pedals

I can confirm that by changing the wheel to custom then separate for pedals works in fixing this problem, I remapped all buttons and the button/switch 11 was fully accesible on the McLaren V2. Thanks for the tips - I use it for brake balance.

Well, I can't correctly calibrate the wheel if I select "Custom" or "Generic DD wheel" in "make" section.
If I select "Custom", and "Separate" in "Pedal Type", when I press the button to calibrate the wheel (or the pedals), I receive a warning message: "Not all required controls are assigned. Please assign these before continuing". What does it means?
Instead, if I select "Generic DD wheel", I can calibrate the wheel, but the result is terrible: the steering angle is different between the real wheel and the simulated one, no matter how many times I try. The first step is to rotate the wheel till the end, there is a progress bar. I rotate it till the end of the bar (which corresponds to the physical end of the real wheel rotation) and I do a 540° rotation. The second step is to rotate 90°. I tried various combinations of rotation (540 + 90, 360 + 90, 360 + 180, 540 + 180, ecc.) but nothing works.
    What I am doind wrong?

Did you try to rebind the wheel and pedals before calibrating?

Do you mean to unplug the steering wheel usb cable before recalibrating it?

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean to "rebind". What should I do?
