    Hello,

    Can this please be added? Being forced to use Oculus terrible software keeps me from playing this game.

    There is a github link that can apparently bypass the game forcing Oculus mode on Quest headsets but why is this needed?

    All I'm asking for is that the game not force the system into Oculus mode so I can use OpenXR (VDXR wireless).

    Please please please. The latest updates look amazing and I'd love to play them.

    Hi! This post is intended for Ams2 developers, but if anyone has any more suggestions, that would be great to write them here too.
    I don't know if there is a specific forum for suggestions (I've searched a bit and didn't see it).
    I've tested the game a bit and these are some suggestions I'd like to see applied to the next update:

    - Repair speed modifier. I really feel that while looking for realism, it would be nice to give the option to make damage repairs “a bit more arcade”, especially the serious ones. To make it something viable in a race, to be able to adjust the speed in multipliers, x2, x3 style.... would be great.

    - Adjust the speed of tyre placement. Right now, most stops that don't involve repairs end up with 3-4 seconds of the car floating without tyres until the game visually places them, this is more of a bug than a suggestion.

    - Let admins declare flags or FCY. This is especially needed in multiplayer races in my opinion. It is a basic feature to properly moderate races. I think it would work great in conjunction with the game's automated system, which can sometimes fail.

    I'm sure right now the dev team is focused on other priorities and bugs, but I think these suggestions are “relatively easy” to incorporate into the game and would make it look a hell of a lot better.

    I understand wanting features to be natively implemented by the devs, and don't want to take that away from you. I do, however, suggest you try the bypass method. It's a couple files you need to drag and drop into your folder.

    Plenty of us are enjoying the game using VDXR already, hopefully one day it's native. Don't miss out in the meantime though!

    Guys from Reiza, please add a little DLC or two (or three) in each update. We want Porsche Cup Gen 2, GT4 Gen 2, more IndyCar and F1, and new tracks - even if you do not have a license, make your fantasy tracks, like in Gran Turismo! AMS2 is the best racing game ever and we want everything in it! More oval tracks (even fantasy), NASCAR (even fantasy), every racing series - North and South America, European (new DTM, BTCC e.t.c,), Asian series (Formula, Super GT, Makao e.t.c.) -

    I agree to a point, but maybe it’s better to say that you want it instead of we. I don’t think it’s a good idea to talk for people

    I don't know if this has been mentioned before, however I do find it to be an important request. Could we please get an extra time multiplier, preferably X3? X2 is a bit too long (24h race will take 12 hours:eek:), while X5/X4 means the shorter races will become too short. X3 is the perfect sweet spot; the longer races are still long while the shorter races aren't too short. Many thanks in advance!:hurrayreiza::hurrayreiza::hurrayreiza:

    This is super pedantic and not a priority, but can the marshals at Mosport be switched to have white clothing? Our club wears white as standard ;)

    Will we ever get an update to cart 3d model of Lola 98-00, nose at front should be a bit more narrow shape and rear wing is quite wrong modeled in game for both road and oval versions
    for example

    Indeed, Lola used a much more sharper and flatter nose

    The AMS 2 Lola has a too plump and round and too big nose, it's more like a Reynard

    A more snappy nose will make the car more sexy

    Well, my two cents would be just visuals, sorry.
    As someone might've already mention it, volumetric clouds would be greatly appreciated.
    Aaand vehicle self-reflections, too. You know, even basic screen-space reflections would do just fine, no need to raytrace those.
    Because once you notice the parts like rear wing and rear mirrors hanging on the car body without any reflection to 'ground' them into the car, you just can't unsee this kinda thing, it just haunts you forever. In some games (like, say, Hot Pursuit 2010) it doesn't stick out that much because, well, HP2010 doesn't strive for photorealistic visuals, really. But the track racers do suffer badly from it.
    (At least, that's how I feel about it)

    Hi, can a extra filter or 2 get added on the multiplayer screen, to hide passworded servers, never was really a issue but now LFM is in the game the list can get confusing with so many password servers

    Native TrackIR that is distinct from VR mode, if it's possible.

    The current situation is fine if you only use TrackIR on your gaming rig .. or if you only use VR.

    But it's much less than ideal for someone who sometimes uses one or the other, or uses VR on their rig, but not for AMS2.

    Add Road Atlanta, Road America, VIR, Sebring, Indy, and Daytona to that list. (and Barber, AMP, Sonoma, COTA, Roebling, CMP, and all of the other NA tracks lol).

    Probably a good place to mention that marshals are not showing up on Sebring and the roof of the corner station at Road Atlanta turn 7 should be purple.

    My Concept for a cleaner main menu design that still fits minimalism and modernism's aesthetics. (Apologies for the tone of the last post :( )

    I've been looking at the classic Formula 1 season in game and I've come up with what I think are the cars that would really help to flesh out the seasons. Some seasons are already pretty spot on but some are missing fairly iconic cars (you can't really have 1990 without the Ferrari 641 for example). Also in some seasons, there are configuration of cars missing (engine sizes for example).

    I realise some cars are more important than others and some car configurations are hardly essential but these car just some ideas for inspiration. I've used Wikipedia, f1technical.net, f1.fandom.com & motorsportmagazine.com to get the finer details (especially in the early years where lots of variations of cars were raced) Cars in non-bold are already in game. Cars in bold I think are needed and cars in grey are non essential but nice to have:

    Formula Vintage Gen 1 (1967)

    Model 1 V8
    Model 2 V12 (Eagle-Weslake T1G)

    Lotus 49 (probably one of the most important F1 cars of all time and the C version is already in Gen2)
    Brabham BT24 (World Championship winner)

    Honda RA300 (Race winner that year, with the 'spaghetti' exhausts)
    Cooper Maserati T81 (Race winner that year, has a distinctive nose/front air intake)
    Ferrari 312/67 (I'm probably just going to put the of that year Ferrari for most seasons :)
    BRM P115 (The only ever H16 engine, has a distinctive nose/front air intake)

    Gap = 2 Years

    Formula Vintage Gen 2 (1969)

    Lotus 49C
    Brabham BT26A
    Model 1 V8
    Model 2 V12

    Matra MS80 (World Championship winner)

    McLaren M7C (Race Winner)

    Gap = 5 Years

    Formula 1 Retro Gen 1 (1974)

    Brabham BT44
    Lotus 72E
    McLaren M23
    Shadow DN3
    V12

    Ferrari 312B3-74 (Race winner & Championship challenger, Lauda's first winning car and only Flat 12 engine that year)
    Tyrrell 007 (Race winner & Championship challenger)

    Gap = 4 Years

    Formula 1 Retro Gen 2 (1978)

    Brabham BT46B
    Lotus 79
    Shadow DN9

    Brabham BT46 (non fan) To be fair the fan only did one race... Race winner (Italy)
    Ferrari 312T3 (Race winner, Gilles Villeneuve's first winning car, distinctive looking & only Flat 12 that year)
    Renault RS01 (First turbo F1 car. Part raced in 77 raced all of 78. Distinctive looking)

    Tyrrell 008 (Race winner)

    Gap = 2 or 3 years

    Brabham BT49 (1980 or 1981) I think this needs to be separated out into a new Retro Gen. It was only raced in 1980 & 1981. My personal preference wold be for 1981.

    1981

    Williams FW07C
    (Race winner and championship challenger)
    McLaren MP4/1 (Race winner, first carbon fibre monocoque, first McLaren of the Ron Dennis era)
    Renault RE30 (Race winner, Turbo)
    Ligier JS17 (Race winner, championship challenger V12)
    Ferrari 126CK (Race winner, Villeneuve iconic wins & Ferrari's first Turbo, distinctive looking)

    Gap = 2 or 3 Years

    Formula 1 Retro Gen 3 (1983)

    Brabham BT52
    McLaren MP4/1C
    DFY
    Turbo

    Renault RE40 (Race winner & championship challenger, distinctive looking)
    Ferrari 126C3 (Race winner & championship challenger)

    Tyrrell 011 (Last DFV winner)

    Gap = 3 Years

    Formula Classic Gen1 (1986)

    Lotus 98T
    Model 1 (Williams FW11)
    Model 2

    McLaren MP4/2C (World Championship winner, distinctive looking)
    Benetton B186 (Race winner. Most powerful F1 car of all time)

    Brabham BT55 (Distinctive low line chassis)
    Ferrari F1/86 (Distinctive in a sort of ugly way)

    Gap = 2 Years

    Formula Classic Gen2 (1988)

    McLaren MP4/4
    Model 1
    Model 2
    Model 3

    Ferrari F1/87/88C (Only other car to win a race that year)

    Arrows A10B
    Benetton B188
    Williams FW12

    Gap = 2 Years

    Formula Classic Gen3 (1990)

    McLaren MP4/5B
    Model 1
    Model 2
    Model 3 (Williams FW13B)
    Model 4

    Ferrari 641 (Race winner and championship challenger. Best looking F1 car of all time?)
    Benetton B190 (Race winner)

    Tyrrell 019 (First high nose F1 car)

    Gap = 1 Year

    Formula Classic Gen4 (1991)

    McLaren MP4/6
    Model 1 (Ferrari 643)
    Model 2 (Williams FW14)
    Model 3 (Benetton B191)

    Jordan 191 (Another challenger for best looking F1 car of all time, low nose V8)

    Tyrrell 020 (High nose V10)

    Gap = 1 Year

    Formula HiTech Gen1 (1992)

    McLaren MP4/7
    Ferrari F92A
    Williams FW14B
    Benetton B192
    Model 4 (Williams FW14)

    Tyrrell 020 (High nose V10)
    Lotus 107 (low nose V8)

    Gap = 1 Year

    Formula HiTech Gen2 (1993)

    McLaren MP4/8
    Ferrari F93A
    Williams FW15C
    Benetton B193

    Footwork FA14 (High nose V10)

    Gap 2 = Years

    Formula V12 (1995) As it stands just a single chassis/engine for this year, the Ferrari 412T2. I would love this season to be filled out. Not sure what to call it once V8's and V10's are added!

    Ferrari 412T2

    Williams FW17 (Race winner and championship challenger)
    Benetton B195 (World Championship winner)

    Jordan 195 (Low Nose/V10)
    Footwork FA16 (Low Nose/V8)
    McLaren MP4/10 (Distinctive looking, too narrow for Mansell to fit in)
    Minardi M195 (High Nose V8)
    Forti FG01 (Last manual F1 car)

    Gap = 2 Years

    Formula V10 Gen1 (1997)

    McLaren MP4/12
    Model 1

    Ferrari F310B (Race winner & Championship challenger)
    Williams FW19 (World championship winner)
    Benetton B197 (Race winner)

    Gap = 4 Years

    Formula V10 Gen2 (2001)

    Williams FW23

    Ferrari F2001 (World championship winner)
    McLaren MP4/16 (Race winner)

    These are my ideas anyway - please add any other cars in the comments below and why you would like to have them in game!
