Yes, I've seen similar problems with other users. For example, the same 720S - there is sound in the right earpiece, but it is quieter than in the left earpiece. BMW GT3 - same thing, and also if you put hood view, the sound is only on the left.

I have tried all of the fix options. None of them work.

 

Is there something i can do or is this poor GPU optimization by AMS2? I think this happened after last update 1.6.3.5 but i’m not sure.

40/60 % GPU utilization 35% CPU but still low FPS. GPU doesn’t do much and even doesn’t get warm. In other games GPU UTILIZATION is normal between 90 and 100%

 

Hello, I just saw your answer. The problem was indeed OneDrive. I removed a drive some time ago, and Automobilista 2 tried to save in the wrong directory. Now I’ve fixed it and it works fine. Thanks a lot for your time.

 

I have this issue that is driving me crazy, ams2 sees my custom made R8 steering wheel as an xbox controller when i am trying to assign buttons, up until now a pc reboot was able to fix this but not this time. I spent the last hour trying various reboots, completely deleting xobox controller from my devices, deleting ams controller profile, trying different usb ports, nothing helped

 

Hi all, I haven't played the game to much yet, and not since 1.5. I have this issue where I set up a single race on Nurburgring with formula trainers. I set the race to have 22 cars and 3 laps, I start the race and pass several cars, but when I pass the starting line when lap 2 is supposed to start it says I'm still on lap 1 and apparently I am second to last even after passing so many cars...what am I missing here ?

With Logitech DFGT Wheel the pedals have huge deadzones in the end of the pedal travel. I press the pedals to 50% and game already registers 100% pedal travel. It happens only on track, in the control settings everything is fine when calibrating. If I select custom preset instead of Logitech, the problem is the same but in reverse: the deadzone is at the start of the pedal pressing. Huge deadzone, like 50%! Game is unplayable that way.

Steps to reproduce: Get an old Logitech DFGT wheel and load the DFGT preset. Go on track, press the pedals and look on the pedal telemetry.

I tried everything, even reinstalled the game twice (deleting automobilista folder in Documents as well), but nothing helped. In other games like ACC, rFactor 2 there is no problem. There is a similar post where a guy had very similar issue with his old Logitech driving force pro wheel:
Huge dead zone on acc pedal
(Custom preset is not working for my DFGT like for the Driving Force Pro for that guy).

I have a csw 2.5 which I have been using for many years and for some reason I can no longer play AMS2. It’s been a few weeks since I last played and I’m not having any issues in many other games. The wheel shows up in controller setting but does not work when trying to play. I’ve deleted the ffb file in documents with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you change usb port for your wheelbase?

 

Thanks for the reply. I did not, however when I asked my boys there was a guilty silence. Assuming it did get changed. What would be the recourse for that?

 

I think its part of the madness engine - I also see this if i change the usb port on my hub.

I also saw it when i was racing in Project cars 2

 

so a complete reinstall I assume?

No you can just reset the controlls to assign them again
