    I'm not sure if it depends on how the game engine is structured, but it would make more sense to have time multipliers as even numbers rather than odd. I would still prefer having a X3 option if there's no way to set progression for even numbers. Just my opinion.

    Maybe an additional unique livery for formula USA 23? To expand to 33 total liveries?

    Morning all.

    Was going to post my 2 main issues in ams2 hoping it would be a talking point going forward for the devs to read or it has already been discussed on here in previous years, but AMS2 is turning 5 years old yet we still dont have these very small but essential ingredients say, these could be a game changer.
    AMS2 is underrated that's how i see it, it is a fantastic sim especially since 1.6 and beyond it has been my go sim since 2023-25 so i would like to give credit to all those hard working devs at reiza

    Based on Game Build: V1.6.3.6
    Request Title: Customizable Camera Angles & Expanded Lap Time Display
    Description:
    • Allow players to edit and save custom camera angles for replays. Many sim racers enjoy reviewing their races and hot laps, but the default camera options can feel limiting and reduce immersion. Having the ability to adjust and save preferred angles would significantly enhance the experience.
    • In Test Day mode, display all completed lap times when returning to the pits. Currently, only the last lap time is shown, making it difficult to analyze past performance. A full lap history would allow players to compare sector times across multiple laps and track their progress more effectively.
    Benefits:
    • Enhances replay immersion and customization, improving overall user experience.
    • Provides better tools for drivers to analyze performance and refine their technique.
    • Makes AMS2 more appealing to both casual and serious sim racers, increasing engagement.

    Gamepad user here, as i find the controller a lot better to use now, only one request i have and that when using auto transmission , when the car upshifts there is no vibration, but on the downshift there is. I know this is not a game breaking bug, but it would be nice to show the gamepad users a bit of love.

    There are quite a few of us out there who use a Gamepad.

    Add wheel button to GUI like with controller:
    With Xbox Controller: Glyphs Shown

    Also, move Glyphs to the buttons, since those ones (and more) cannot be navigated with a D-Pad/Stick:

    On menus that can be scrolled, scroll and pointer interfere on highlighted option:
    Two ideas:
    • Scroll doesn't scroll throught the options, just the list. The highlighted option will be wherever the pointer is and not changed by the scroll wheel itself. (Preferred)
    • Add a "deadzone" after scrolling so you don't accidently change the highlighted when scrolling or clicking

    Allow side mouse buttons to navigate menus back (and forth if possible, tho less important) like right click behaves now (right click might/should be kept for those without side buttons)

    I suppose it doesn't hurt to wish for it:
    • A way to lean left / lean right in the karts and affect the lateral weight balance
    The solution could be anything from a very simple two-button mapping, to the fully immersive (but very unlikely, if I'm honest) implementation of the camera position in VR controlling how much you lean.

    Request Title: Damage Scale adjustment in TIME TRIAL
    Description:
    • The damage scale in TIME TRIAL mode is too high and cannot be adjusted, which often forces you to restart due to minor mistakes. Additionally, the initial tire and brake temperatures are not optimal, requiring 1-2 laps to warm them up, wasting a significant amount of time. We believe that TT mode is intended for practice and pushing the limits of lap times, but high damage undoubtedly affects the experience. I hope REIZA can allow adjustable damage scale in TT mode.


    • Furthermore, being able to adjust the time and weather conditions for the time trial sessions would be fantastic, as it would enable testing lap time limits under wet conditions and different temperatures within TT mode.
    Benefits:
    • Improving user experience in TT mode.

    Request Title: Imrove replay system
    Description:
    I saw that someone earlier mentioned the request to improve the replay system, but hasn't been responsed. Many players around me are also dissatisfied with the replay system and believe it urgently needs improvement. Here are some specific issues:

    • We need more freedom in camera angles and hope to be able to zoom in or out during replays. It would be great to have a drone-style overhead view.
    • The ability to quickly jump to a specific point in the replay is necessary. If live track limitations prevent this, we request faster playback speeds, such as 50x fast-forward.
    • The replay save way is poor, it doesn't allow saving during the race or automatic saves. Sometimes during online races, if you're knocked out, you have to wait until the race ends to save the replay and review the crash, which wastes a lot of time. Additionally, the Instant Replay in Time Trial mode only lasts 2 minutes, sometimes not even covering an entire lap on some circuits.
    • During races, the replay system occasionally encounters bugs. For example, after loading a replay, only one car might be moving while all others remain stationary at the starting grid for a long time before finally beginning to move.

    Then we need to be able to do it while in game. Now you must go leave the game if you didn't remember to do it in lobby.

    I wish they added SC to the formation lap. and more slots for the custom championship

    Formula V12 needs to have more cars. It doesn't make sense not to have the 1994 season, but the 1995 season is incomplete with only Ferrari

    The Formula V12 has 26 cars, just like it was in the 1995 season. ;)

    It would be a nice feature if the result screen would show the team name instead of the car class when a Custom AI file is in use.
    But I have no idea if such a thing is easy to implement within the Madness Engine.

    No, Formula V12 has only Ferrari 412T model
    I'm talking about models, not quantity of cars available

    For example, there is no Benetton B195 model, one of the most beautiful cars of all time

    But in 95, only Ferrari still had a V12.
    This series is just a porting from AMS 1.

    Not much of a feature but I really think default setups need an overhaul across the board.

    They are very very safe and uninspiring my default.

    Pretty much every car can stiffen up the front ARB and soften rear ARB by a few clicks.

    Also I have no idea why all cars have so high engine breaking (for some reason its inverted here) so 8-9 feels a lot better than 2.

    It's really amazing how much of an impact setups have in AMS 2.

    Well when half the community is complaining the cars are drifting you oughta maybe tweak the setups a little bit more to the aggressive side. Some GT3 cars feels like boats due to the setup, not had any GT3 car in other sims that feel so heavy and cumbersome.

    I know several other people raised this question too.

    But yeah they should still be drivable in the sense of safe.

    What is the result of stiffening the front and softening the rear?

    A car that will understeer more. A more "safe" and perhaps "uninspiring" car!

    Sorry I just can't understand...
