Second Monitor - Timing/Telemetry App

After the update of yesterday I did a LFM-race. The button with fuel calculation didn't show any required fuel after pressing it. I had to erase some log info, because I got a message saying the file is too big.

 

Looks like in MP there is a problem with properly identifying the player. This could also cause the fuel consumption problems.

I've tried to improve the situation and pushed a small update. Hopefuly that helps.
Thanks again for the logs, it is the only way I can have a peek on what's actually going on

 

When I try to launch, it tells me I need to download .NET but I already have.

 

It requires .NET Core and ASP .NET Runtime, it should be two separate prompts to install.

New version is out, I think I was able to fix fuel calculator not autosetting race length for MP races. In the end it was an app bug (player was not correctly detected before race, so the calculator was not autoupdated).

I also started my LFM journey, so hopefuly MP defects will get identified sooner

In the second race, there is a big problem because the drivers start to leave the race early, and they are not in the "**_Race_End.xls.json" anymore :

I tried to use the file "**_Race_Line.xlsx.json" instead of the "**_Race_End.xlsx.json", and this time I have all the drivers, but the report is incomplete : from the 10th place (my finish), there is a lap missing... And some DNS status are wrong.

In other word, can we keep all the driver in the result in the file Race_End_xlsx.json ?

 

Hi. Is it possible to add car number and team name to json export?

 

I will play around with not removing drivers that have crossed the finish line, that shouldn't be that complex.
Also adding those parameters to the json should be easy.

I think you can keep all of them, even if they did not finish the race (in that case, they will be visible with DNF status).

 

Does this app work with AC Evo yet?

 

Is there a way for teams points to be added to a championship along with individual and manufacturers points?

Not yet, there isn't enough data exposed by Evo yet(i.e. it is not even possible to determine in what kind of session the player is). But I'm keeping an eye out

Todays patch brings the data into json, also drivers disconnects are supressed after leader crosses the finish line.

Now the drivers who disconnect after the finish line are in the "Race_End.xlsx.json".


But, the drivers who disconnect during the race, are still not.
It would have been good to have them in the json with DNF status.


Another idea:
- is it possible to add the penalities info (TIME, DT, etc...) in the json?

There are still some improvemnents to do, but I'm really happy with your data

Bugs:
- Non-valid laps of Practice and Qualif are not visible.
- Variable IsPitLap is set twice: when entering and exiting. Would be good if it was set only when entering.
- Drivers who disconnect the server during the race are erased: it would be good the keep them with DNF status

 

Just stumbled across this app and have a quick question! Can the championship mode work in AMS2 hosted online sessions? My buddy and spend a ton of time running hosted races with just the two of us against AI. It would be a blast if we could run a championship together!

 

I've also been playing around with the data from the json logs and here's a kind of offline championship dashboard thing I put together for my myself while doing some AI testing - just a few different ways of collating/displaying the data. Thanks for the great app!
